In the market for a new controller? Big Star Wars fan? Then this might be the one for you.
Razer has officially unveiled the brand-new Mandalorian 'Beskar Edition' Xbox Wireless Controller and Quick Charging Stand, which is available for pre-order right now with a shipping date of December 10th, 2021.
The downside? It's a lot more expensive than your typical Xbox controller, coming in at US$179.99.
Razer's new accessory is officially licensed and "Designed for Xbox", featuring a design clad in elements of The Mandalorian's signature Beskar armour, while the magnetic stand can reportedly charge it in under three hours.
If the design rings a bell, we saw a similar version of this controller back in October of 2020.

Looks great and this coming from someone who doesn't even like Star Wars (or related stuff). I'm waiting for Elite v3, though, in the hopes that the analogue stick drift issues will finally be resolved there.

Yeah not a chance. This is as expensive as an elite controller just for some lame skin.
If it's made of real beskar, it's a bargain.
I have the original. Looks great at first. Feels like plastic garbage for $179. Still doesn't have the textured triggers. Only upgrades are the share button, and likely a USB C port.

This'd be cool if it was actually made from metal, but that's a lot of money for a pretty standard controller with a fancy look.
My wallet started making a smiley on its own after seeing this controller. When my wallet opened its mouth fire came out! Its already burning.

Ah yes, who in the galaxy hasn't heard stories about the famed Beskar Plastic, signature material of the Mandalorians, and cornerstone of their very society. Its price? Astronomical. Its strength? Practically mythical.
Why, I heard a full breastplate of the stuff was almost able to stand up to a blaster shot at half-strength once - the hole was so tough to see that after they pried it off the bounty hunter's corpse and gave it some touch-up paint, a scalper was still able to resell it for nearly full retail price!
