Minecraft has just rolled out a new update this week for the Bedrock Editions of the game and it's got some members within the community rather excited.

It adds "flat world presets" - allowing you to now select between multiple "exciting in-game presets". This ranges from 'Classic Flat' right through to 'Redstone Ready'. Here's a bit more about it along with the options you can choose from:

"Whether you play in flat worlds because you like a blank slate for your creations or a particularly challenging Survival experience, this one is for you! Now you can explore and terraform more varied flat worlds in Bedrock with new presets. This is the first batch of presets we’re releasing for Bedrock, and we're planning on developing this feature even more in the future!

"To generate a world using the new presets, simply enable flat world mode and select your preferred preset in the Advanced Tab of the Create New World screen. You can choose from a range of presets: Classic Flat, Tunneler’s Dream, Water World, Overworld, Snowy Kingdom, Bottomless Pit, Desert, and Redstone Ready."

Along with this, the latest update also includes various other features and bug fixes to improve the overall gameplay experience. This also includes Vibrant Visuals - the graphics upgrade, which is still in development.

You can see the update in full on Minecraft's feedback webpage. It follows the 'Spring to Life' update in March.
