Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (May 17-18)

Another weekend is upon us, folks, which hopefully means a little spare time to squeeze some gaming in wherever we can. It's been another busy old time on Xbox this past week, with yet another major first-party release arriving in the form of DOOM: The Dark Ages - a title we suspect quite a few of you will be trying out this weekend.

Here's what we're playing over the next few days:

Indeed, I do plan on trying out a bit of DOOM: The Dark Ages this weekend, where I can. I'll admit that I don't foresee myself getting all the way through this one anytime soon - but I do want to hop in and see how it compares to DOOM and DOOM Eternal. I can't complain at Xbox Game Pass allowing me to do just that!

I've also been on the nostalgia train a little bit lately, hitting up some Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in the process. Yep, despite the newer Modern Warfare 2 landing on XGP recently, I've been playing the OG MW2 - and it's still a super-fun time to this day. Come on Microsoft, get some classic COD on Xbox Game Pass please...

Have a great weekend, folks.

I've got a busy weekend ahead of me where I'm going to be on the road a little bit, so my Switch OLED's probably going to take up most of my gaming time - I might have to grab Balatro as I can't get enough of it on Xbox Game Pass!

When I'm back on my Xbox, I'm going to be jumping between Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, UFL and The Precinct. All three of those are commanding my attention right now, but it's Expedition 33 that's particularly got me hooked, and I'm just trying to pace myself with it - don't want the game to end! DOOM: The Dark Ages looks really good for sure, but it might be a while until I get started with that one as I haven't even played DOOM Eternal yet!

Have a nice weekend, folks.
