Microsoft has revealed the list of five games set to leave Xbox Game Pass in May 2025 today, with the big highlight of the bunch of being Remnant 2 - a popular co-op shooter that attracted great reviews at launch a couple of years ago.
All of these are expected to depart on May 31st, although there's always a chance Microsoft could make some adjustments to the list - in the previous one, a couple of games ended up sticking around beyond their initially advertised departure dates.
Here the full list of what's leaving Xbox Game Pass in late May 2025:
Date | Game | Platform |
---|---|---|
May 31 | Cassette Beasts | Console, PC |
May 31 | Firework | PC |
May 31 | HUMANITY | Console, PC |
May 31 | Remnant 2 | Console, PC |
May 31 | Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath | Console, PC |
As usual, these games will be available with a discount of least 20% until they depart the service, and some may receive larger discounts as part of any special Xbox sales between now and the end of May.
Nothing has been announced yet in terms of what's leaving Xbox Game Pass in June, but we've got a list of early predictions elsewhere on Pure Xbox - which includes the now-confirmed removal of Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath.
