Well here we go with another wonderful WAYP. The week was some awesome games all around. Mostly Trails Through Daybreak, Mario and Luigi, Pirate Yakuza, WWE2K25, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition, Atelier Yumia, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Fatal Fury City of the Wolves and Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake. Yeah I finally got to start City of the Wolves and honestly it may be the most fun fighting game like ever. Absolutely loving it from story to matches with friends this game rules and I can’t wait to play more. Most of the weekend was spent with Split Fiction. Had the GF over and yeah we finally got to get a session of Split Fiction in and honestly while at first we had to get reintegrated with it there were some really funny and cool moments while we played. Excited for more. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some Trails Through Daybreak and Monster Hunter Wilds or Dynasty Warriors Origins or maybe Borderlands 1. Trails I’m trying to beat and like legit think I can do it. Then it’s moving onto Daybreak 2 but until a decent shot comes up it’s probably gonna be some fun Mario and Luigi Brothership. And Monster Hunter is still awesome. Just working on raising those Hunter Ranks to maybe dabble in some of that seasonal stuff in the Grand Hub. With Dynasty Warriors I genuinely just wanna beat that too and really clear out the storage on the PS5 and the current games I’m working on. And with Borderlands I’m just thinking of trying to do a marathon of the games before Borderlands 4 comes out. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake, Tales of Graces F Remastered, Split Fiction, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Monster Hunter Wilds, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Disgaea 7, Atelier Yumia, Fatal Fury City of the Wolves, Bakeru and Pirate Yakuza. Wanna try to start Clair Obscur this week too so I can see what everyone’s so hype about and what game could possibly pull fighting game streamer Maximillian away from FFCOTW. The wrestling thing this week being AEW Double or Nothing. Yeah we talking AEW this time because yeah they kinda do have a interesting setup for DoN this year as maybe we could see a war over the World Championship depending on if the person holding it changes hands or not. Jon Moxley or Samoa Joe. Anime of the week gotta go to Okitsura. Again we still trying to work on the catch up so we can start spring animes but it’s really just been all wrestling and other shows. Also saw Thunderbolts* this weekend with the GF and honestly may be the best movie I’ve seen this year. Genuinely teared up and laughed and smiled and loved the movie amd the characters special shoutout to Yelena she rules. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast, Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Punching Up, Easy Allies, Second Wind, Nextlander, Cultaholic Wrestling, Weapon Wheel Podcast and Remap Radio. As always yall stay safe, be cool to each other. Have a totally safe and awesome weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another awesome WAYP. The week was some cool games all around. Mostly Trails Through Daybreak, Mario and Luigi, Pirate Yakuza, WWE2K25, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition, Atelier Yumia and Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Yeah I finally got to start Xenoblade and honestly it’s pretty awesome and yet at the same time I do see the issues with it for me as probably the weakest one. Most of the weekend was spent with nothing actually. Had the GF over and she unfortunately got a little sick so the weekend was taking care of her but it’s alright because she’s feeling slightly better now. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some Trails Through Daybreak and Monster Hunter Wilds. Trails I’m still trying to beat and so close with that too like legit finishing the last side quests. And Monster Hunter is still fun as always. Beat the main story last time so now it’s onto the High Rank Quests and those should be a lot of fun tho apparently way tougher then Low Rank. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake, Tales of Graces F Remastered, Split Fiction, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Monster Hunter Wilds, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Disgaea 7, Atelier Yumia and Pirate Yakuza. Also was able to snag a preorder of a Switch 2 no Mario Kart Bundle as well as all the amiibos minus Yunobo so I’m overall just pretty happy about that. Waiting on a copy of Fatal Fury City of the Wolves to come in too so I can get nice and chewing on a awesome fighting game that even showed up at WrestleMania. Also like most got Clair Obscur Expedition 33 after FFCOTW as well. The wrestling thing this week being WrestleMania 41 weekend and stuff. Yeah it was last week but it was actually the reason I didn’t do a WAYP last week as the GF stayed over a extra day and watched the while thing which was touching. All around a great time really. From SMACKDOWN to the Hall of Fame to Stand and Deliver to both nights of Mania it was just awesome. My two favorite matches easily were the triple threat of Roman, Punk, Rollins with the Paul Heyman Twist and probably the Women's Tag Team Match with the return of Becky Lynch. Anime of the week gotta go to Okitsura. Still trying to work on the catch up so we can start spring animes but it’s really just been all wrestling. As always yall stay safe, be awesome to each other. Have a totally safe and cool weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another cool WAYP. The week was some cool games all around. Mostly Trails Through Daybreak, Mario and Luigi, Monster Hunter, Pirate Yakuza, WWE2K25, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD and Assassin’s Creed Shadows. All continue to be excellent games, loads of fun all around I don’t think any of the games are bad so far they’re all exciting and feel good to play. Most of the weekend was spent with…. No games. Yep that’s right I was in NYC this weekend seeing the GF again. Watched Coachella actually it was pretty neat. Charli XCX rules. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some Monster Hunter Wilds. Yeah the plot is absolutely kicking into high gear with Monster Hunter and I couldn’t be happier this game absolutely rules each new monster is better then the last man it’s so cool. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake, Tales of Graces F Remastered, Split Fiction, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Monster Hunter Wilds, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Disgaea 7, Atelier Yumia and Pirate Yakuza. Still wanna try to start Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition but work continues to be well….. work. Let’s just hope a Switch 2 is easy to get eh? The wrestling thing this week is WrestleMania 41. We basically got all the matches announced and yeah it’s genuinely kinda peak it’s like some of the best matches around. Here’s hoping we can see almost every title change or at least gimme a win for Jacob Fatu and Penta for the US Championship and Intercontinental Championship respectively. Anime of the week gotta go to Solo Leveling, Okitsura, Dragon Ball Daima, 100 Girlfriends and Shangri La Frontier. Yeah picked Okitsura back up again and honestly loving how much it’s teached me about Okinawa. And with Daima I finished that with the GF and honestly it was super cute and fun. Also gave the Devil May Cry anime a shot and I found it pretty cool and it’s given me the DMC bug again, feeling that big Vergil vibes. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast, Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Punching Up, Easy Allies, Second Wind, Nextlander, Cultaholic Wrestling, Weapon Wheel Podcast, Let’s Anime and Remap Radio. As always yall stay safe, be cool to each other. Have a totally safe and cool weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another absolutely amazing WAYP. The week was some awesome games all around. Mostly Trails Through Daybreak, Mario and Luigi, Monster Hunter Wilds, Pirate Yakuza, WWE2K25, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Atelier Yumia. All of those games continue to be absolute bangers and a pleasure to work on while absorbing all the Switch 2 news. Yes I’m excited as all the rest of you for it I’m really hoping to be able to get one Day 1. Most of the weekend was spent with….. nothing. Yeah GF was over again this weekend but we kinda just enjoyed the beautiful weather and nice meals and all that. Rest of the weekend im thinking is gonna be Monster Hunter Wilds. Think I may be coming close to the end of the story of that game? I dunno but without spoilers the way the story’s going I would think we would be getting ready to fight or at least put a name to and encounter the Flagship Monster of this game. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake, Tales of Graces F Remastered, Split Fiction, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Monster Hunter Wilds, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Disgaea 7 and Pirate Yakuza. Still wanna wanna try to start Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition but work just keeps getting in the way. I really wanna start it tho because man did I miss this game and I’m kinda jealous seeing people like Alana and Gonçalo talk about it. Plus I’d love to get the work started on it like now so the backlog is less before Switch 2. Also wanna pick up Tekken 8 again with the Season 2 update and Anna being added and all that. Think maybe we could get Tifa in Season 2 as well. The wrestling thing this week being AEW Dynasty. Yeah we going with AEW this weekend but to their credit we literally have a PPV as this WAYP is being written. Hopefully some cool things happen throughout what with stars like Toni Storm and Swerve Strickland there. Anime of the week gotta go to Solo Leveling, 100 Girlfriends and Shangri La Frontier. Got my spring anime picked out too I think so I gotta get those Winter ones finished up so I can get the Spring ones underway before they get going too much. As always yall stay safe, be amazing to each other. Let’s hope we can all get a Switch 2. Have a totally safe and amazing weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another crazy WAYP. The week was some awesome games all around. Mostly Trails Through Daybreak, Mario and Luigi, Monster Hunter, Pirate Yakuza, WWE2K25, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD and Super Mario Party Jamboree. Yeah I finally beat Jamboree and while I wasn’t able to do it 100% doing such a thing was honestly gonna just be more trouble then it was worth. There are like legit 2 bad mini games in a collection of like 100 but hey now I’m done with it and can move on. Now it’s just like the Mario RPGs of last year and Luigi’s Mansion that I gotta catch up on. Started Atelier Yumia too and I dunno I feel pretty confident I can finally beat an Atelier game because man was that first session so much fun. The characters, the story, the world all of it was absolutely beautiful. Also started WWE2K25 and Assassins Creed Shadows and both are absolutely excellent for different reasons. WWE is absolutely fantastic with its Bloodline Showcase mode and the game controls so smoothly now. Assassins Creed on the other hand was genuinely riveting with its story hook and I can’t wait to dig into it more and more. Most of the weekend was spent with Donkey Kong and Mario and Luigi Brothership and the Fatal Fury City of the Wolves Beta. That last one I gotta shoutout because after the last beta I was honestly thinking of giving up on that game but this beta not only changed me around on that but really made me go wow I love fighting games. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some Monster Hunter Wilds. Monster Hunter is still fun as always and I wanna do more and more of the story. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake, Tales of Graces F Remastered, Split Fiction, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Monster Hunter Wilds, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Disgaea 7 and Pirate Yakuza. Still wanna wanna try to start Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition and of course be hype for the Switch 2 Direct with it. Speaking of Directs the one from this week was absolutely amazing I loved it my stand out reveals from it being No Sleep For Kaname Date and the Raidou Remaster. The wrestling thing this week being WrestleMania 41. Yeah I’m just gonna drop talking about the Road to WrestleMania and just say that between the two Main Events of WrestleMania 41 I gotta admit that I think they can at least deliver on that front. Anime of the week gotta go to Solo Leveling, 100 Girlfriends and Shangri La Frontier. Also gotta work in some movies like A Complete Unknown and Anora. As always yall stay safe, be awesome to each other. Let’s get hype for this Switch 2 Direct and let’s hope we can all get one. Have a totally safe and awesome weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another wild WAYP. The week was some awesome games all around. Mostly Trails Through Daybreak, Mario and Luigi, Monster Hunter, Pirate Yakuza, Emio and FFXIV Dawntrail. Was able to wrap up the current patch of XIV so I’m gonna put it down for a little. Also got to start Disgaea 7 and that game is really charming and cute. Oh I also finally beat Emio and man lemme tell ya that is a hidden gem of the switch generation and a dark horse of last years releases in terms of GOTYs. The story was easily the best of any of the Famicom Detective Club games. Most of the weekend was spent with the GF so the only game we even thought of was maybe some Split Fiction. Didn’t end up doing it tho we did have a fun day at the mall where I got to complete my JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Manga collection. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some Trails Through Daybreak and Monster Hunter Wilds. Trails I really wanna beat soon so I’m just gonna keep chipping away at it with even the smallest of sessions per day that then maybe one big session can knock it out. And Monster Hunter is still crazy fun man the gameplay is so addicting I don’t care if it’d easier them other games it’s way more fun now too. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake, Tales of Graces F Remastered, Split Fiction, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Monster Hunter Wilds, Disgaea 7 and Pirate Yakuza. Still wanna knock out Mario Party before the Switch 2 Direct. Also wanna try to start WWE2K25 to coincide with RAW from Scotland this week, Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition, Atelier Yumia The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land and Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Then that’s the lead up to late April with Fatal Fury City of The Wolves and Clair Obscura Expedition 33.The wrestling thing this week being WWE2K25 and the Road to Wrestlemania again. As stated I really am excited to start up WWE2K25 and see all the fun new stuff in it like The Island and try out stuff like The Bloodline Dynasty Showcase mode. As for the Road to Wrestlemania honestly it’s getting semi boring but we did get a really hype match announced in the Triple Threat of Roman Reigns Vs Seth Rollins Vs CM Punk so I am still really hype for Wrestlemania 41 in Las Vegas. Anime of the week gotta go to Solo Leveling, 100 Girlfriends and Sakamoto Days. Trying to get back into the swing of things with anime and those are the three that really hit right now like they’re really really good. Mostly still working on shows on things like Netflix and Disney Plus like Daredevil Born Again or Running Point. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast, Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Last Stand Media, Easy Allies, Second Wind, Nextlander, Cultaholic Wrestling, Weapon Wheel Podcast and Remap Radio. Still shout to Weapon Wheel it seriously has come out as like my new favorite podcast right now. As always yall stay safe, be amazing to each other. Have a totally safe and amazing weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another cool WAYP. The week was some awesome games all around. Mostly Trails Through Daybreak, Mario and Luigi, Monster Hunter, Pirate Yakuza and FFXIV Dawntrail. Also got to start Lost Records Bloom and Rage and that sure was something alright. It’s fun. It’s cute. But it’s mostly just Life Is Strange again mixed with like Yellowjackets? I mean it seems fine but in terms of games it’s definitely at the back of the line. Most of the weekend was spent with Trails Through Daybreak. Was again in the city spending time with the GF so the only game I’ve gotten around to is another Trails session where I’ve made it to the Finale Chapter. Again it’s the special time that matters more then games tho so who cares hahaha. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some Trails Through Daybreak and Monster Hunter Wilds. Trails I really wanna beat soon so I’m just gonna keep chipping away at it and Monster Hunter is still a GOTY Contender for sure where each new monster is just more fun to hunt then the last one was. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Emio, Dawntrail, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Monster Hunter Wilds and Pirate Yakuza. Yes Emio and Mario Party are back on the docket as I wanna knock out most of my first party Nintendo games before the Switch 2 Direct. Also wanna try to start Disgaea 7 as that was a gift I wanna get around to. Wanna try to install the copy of WWE2K25 I got and also pick up copies of Atelier Yumia, Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition and Assassin’s Creed Shadows too. March do be a crazy good month for games man. The wrestling thing this week being NXT Roadblock and the Road to Wrestlemania. NXT Roadblock was something I got to see in person this week and honestly it was magical. The Theater at MSG rules and seeing Giulia Versus Stephanie Vaquer was absolutely amazing and well worth the price of the ticket. As for the Road to Wrestlemania what can I say except we’re in that time of year like playoffs for football or March Madness and it’s just electric and amazing as we get hype for Wrestlemania 41 in Las Vegas. Anime of the week gotta go to Solo Leveling. Yeah I’m getting caught up on just that for now and it rules it seriously is a work of art. Super exciting and awesome action scenes. Been trying to start some new shows too like Daredevil Born Again after seeing so many ads for it in NYC. Big shout to Weapon Wheel on this one it seriously is one of my favorite podcasts right now. As always yall stay safe, be awesome to each other. Have a totally cool weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another wild WAYP. Again missed a week due to spending the weekend with the GF but we got a really good one this week. Again spending time with someone you love beats gaming by far.The week was some good fun games all around. Mostly Trails Through Daybreak, Monster Hunter Wilds, Pirate Yakuza, FFXIV Dawntrail with some Mario and Luigi Brothership as well. Pirate Yakuza may be a GOTY it’s so much fun and I loved it so much. Monster Hunter is fun too it’s easily the most fun I’ve had with a Monster Hunter game by far. Made the GOTY list and can’t wait to share it about to any who wanna hear. Most of the weekend was spent with Split Fiction with the GF. Yes I’ve decided to share the very special experience of a Josef Fares game with someone very special to me. Honestly it didn’t wow me at first but I’m willing to give it a fair shake. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some Trails Through Daybreak as I’m really hoping to beat it and start II. As well as some Pirate Yakuza or Monster Hunter or maybe Death Stranding Directors Cut or maybe even Lost Records Bloom and Rage. Maybe even Disgaea 7 too as I got that as a gift last weekend from the GF too. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Dawntrail, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake, Pirate Yakuza, Monster Hunter, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD and Dynasty Warriors Origins. Try to pick up my preorder of WWE2K25 too. The wrestling thing this week being the WWE Elimination Chamber and WWE2K25. To start with the game first what can I say I’m excited for the BLOODLINE showcase mode and overall excited for a fresh new game. As for Elimination Chamber what is there to say except two words: CENA SUCKS. Anime of the week gotta go to Dragon Ball Daima and Shangri La Frontier and Solo Leveling and Okitsura and Sakamoto Days and 100 Girlfriends. They all continue to be absolute bangers as they keep trucking. As always yall stay safe, be awesome to each other. Have a totally magnificent weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (February 22-23)

Ryne-Gaia

Well here we go with another awesome WAYP. Some of yall may have noticed no WAYP last week from yours truly. Simple answer is I didn’t play nothing. I was on an amazing Valentine’s Day Weekend date with the most amazing girl in the world who I asked to be my girlfriend. But yeah no games mean no WAYP. Most of the week was spent with the new regular games like Dynasty Warriors Origins and Trails Through Daybreak and YS Memoire and FFXIV Dawntrail. Actually ended up beating YS and what cam I say that is one quaint little YS game big fan of the mostly laid back artstyle. Oh yeah I finally did it I beat Metaphor Refantazio Honestly Metaphor was a beautiful game from start to finish an absolute 10/10 no notes beauty from story to characters to the world to even the combat just absolutely incredible. Most of the weekend was spent with Super Mario Party Jamboree and nothing actually. Jamboree honestly still is the best Mario Party recently no joke it’s a lot of fun and so pretty. Played two rounds on the two boards that interested me most the mall and race track ones and playing as Pauline and Rosalina is still so much fun too As for why I played nothing well I got surprised with a visit from my aforementioned girlfriend so I promptly took the Sonic Racing Crossworlds Beta I was gonna try and just well….. didn’t. Like I’ve said before yall some things are more important then gaming and this is one of them. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some WWE2K24 or maybe the Fatal Fury City of the Wolves Beta. Maybe some Fantasian Neo Dimension or even Lost Records Bloom And Rage as I would really like to see how that game plays out considering this is Tape 1. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, FFXIV: Dawntrail, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake and WWE 2K24. Try to start Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii as yeah I got that as a surprise gift from the GF as well and I’m very much looking forward to enjoying that one. Excited to also pick up a copy of Monster Hunter Wilds this week as well after Pirate Yakuza it’s probably my most hyped game. Question is it it a purchase before going to NYC to see the GF, in NYC or after? Also did preorder Clair Obscura: Expedition 33 and DOOM The Dark Ages too so I’m very hype for those. The wrestling thing this week being the WWE Elimination Chamber and WWE2K25. Yeah there’s some good matches at the first like the Women’s and Men’s Elimination Chamber matches and the Kevin Owens Vs Sami Zayn Unsanctioned Match. As for WWE2K25 I’m just plain excited to get that. Anime of the week gotta go to Dragon Ball Daima and Shangri La Frontier and Solo Leveling and Okitsura and Sakamoto Days and 100 Girlfriends. They all continue to be absolute bangers no notes I will admit I’ve skipped two weeks of anime recently. Also saw that new Captain America movie Brand New World and yeah that was good too. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast, Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Last Stand Media, Easy Allies, Second Wind, Nextlander, Cultaholic Wrestling, Weapon Wheel Podcast, Wrestling is Cool which I wanna give a try and Remap Radio. As always yall stay safe, be awesome to each other. Have a totally awesome weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (February 8-9)

Well here we go with another cool WAYP. The week was some good fun games all around. Mostly Trails Through Daybreak, Emio and Metaphor with some Mario and Luigi and WWE2K24. Didn’t beat Metaphor or Emio but hey man sometimes work gets in the way. Gonna try again this week at least with Metaphor. Did start Donkey Kong Country Returns HD and Dynasty Warriors Origins. DK is a charming platformer with excellent level design while Dynasty Warriors is just addicting with its combat. Most of the weekend was spent with the Monster Hunter Wilds Beta. Gotta say it is pretty good like the combat has genuinely improved in a way that I was just downright blown away by. Can’t wait for that game at the end of the month. The monsters look so cool too. Other than the Super Bowl this weekend I’m thinking the rest of this weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some Fantasian Neo Dimension. That game is genuinely charming and has such a cute artstyle and has some great characters and story. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Emio, Dawntrail, Metaphor, YS, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake and WWE 2K24. Also gonna try to preorder Clair Obscura: Expedition 33 and DOOM The Dark Ages too for real this time. The wrestling thing this week being the lead up to WWE Elimination Chamber. The Women’s and Men’s Chamber matches are already filling up with hit stars amd I’m excited for more Qualifying matches and other things on the card. Anime of the week gotta go to Dragon Ball Daima and Shangri La Frontier and Solo Leveling and Okitsura and Sakamoto Days and 100 Girlfriends. They all continue to be absolute bangers with Sakamoto Days as the clear stand out by far. As always yall stay safe, be awesome to each other. Have a totally awesome weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (February 1-2)

Ryne-Gaia

Well here we go with another interesting WAYP. The week was some good fun games all around. Mostly Trails Through Daybreak, Emio and Metaphor with some Mario and Luigi and WWE2K24. Didn’t beat Metaphor or Emio but got a super good idea for a setup to beat it this week. Kinda realized hey I can make a GOTY list whenever I want I mean look at GDC they do GOTY awards in March of all things. Most of the weekend was spent with Super Mario Party Jamboree and WWE2K24. Jamboree honestly still may be the best Mario Party recently no joke it’s a lot of fun and so pretty. The mini games are peak too. As for WWE2K24 it’s also quite fun even if it’s funny seeing some of the outdated looks for wrestlers like Raquel Rodriguez or Liv Morgan but hey that just means WWE2K25 is gonna be even better hahahaha. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some Space Marine 2. Got a friend I’ve been playing that with and we got a shot to beat that game I think so I’m pretty hype to get that one taken care of. Try to start Donkey Kong Country Returns HD and Dynasty Warriors Origins for real like on the day off. Try to preorder Clair Obscura: Expedition 33 and DOOM The Dark Ages too. The wrestling thing this week being the WWE Royal Rumble. The Women’s and Men’s Royal Rumble matches were amazing and full of awesome appearances like Alexa Bliss and Nikki Bella and AJ Styles and Joe Hendry. And that Cody Rhodes match was utterly insane too and I loved it. Even the Tag Team Champiomship Match with DIY had some absolute banger energy. Anime of the week gotta go to Dragon Ball Daima and Shangri La Frontier and Solo Leveling and Okitsura and Sakamoto Days and 100 Girlfriends. They all continue to be absolute bangers as excellent winter choices. As always yall stay safe, be cool to each other. Have a totally amazing weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 25-26)

Ryne-Gaia

Well here we go with another interesting WAYP. The week was some new games and more of the GOTY hunt again. Should be wrapping that GOTY hunt this week too. Trails Through Daybreak, Metaphor and some Mario and Luigi and WWE2K24. Got to start that Tales of Graces F Remastered and I mean it sure is fun so far if not a little slow. Very cute game tho with very charming character designs. Most of the weekend was spent with GTAV. Yeah that’s right GTAV. Had a hankering to go back to it and honestly was pretty busy most of the weekend so I figured why not. Yeah I got that copy of Donkey Kong Country Returns HD amd GameStop finally got my copy of Dynasty Warriors Origins in but I had a cute amazing like a dream date in NYC so I’d dare say I had more fun doing that then I would ever have had with either of those games. Got to go to a Genshin pop up store in Times Square which factors in later. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some YS Memoire The Oath in Felghana or some of the story mode of WWE2K24. Maybe some Infinity Nikki or even a freshly redownloaded Genshin too. Yeah honestly my super cute super amazing date has inspired me to get back into and hopefully keep up with and enjoy Genshin and it’s story. Speaking on that date I also got to complete my FFXIV artbook collection and grab a Fire Emblem Heroes Japanese Artbook import. Man I really want a new Fire Emblem game ahaha. Try to start Donkey Kong Country Returns HD and Dynasty Warriors Origins too. Yeah I didn’t finish Emio last week like I said but maybe we can get a two for one shot of Emio and Metaphor this week. Here’s hoping. Preordered Atelier Yumia and am looking to preorder Claire Obscura: Expedition 33 and Doom: The Dark Ages too. The wrestling thing this week being the WWE Royal Rumble. Yeah the event I’ve been looking to the most since getting into wrestling I can’t wait to see the surprise returns or debuts in the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches as well as the two currently other announced matches for the PLE that being DIY VS MCMG for the Tag Team Championships and Cody Rhodes Vs Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Shoutout to the press event for WWE 2K25 they’re gonna do this week too as well as the more recent Saturday Nights Main Event. Hey whenever we can see Rhea Ripley is always a good time man hahaha. Anime of the week gotta go to Dragon Ball Daima and Shangri La Frontier and Solo Leveling and 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really Love You and OKITSURA: Fell in Love with an Okinawan Girl, but I Just Wish I Know What She's Saying and Sakamoto Days. Winter Picks are in yeah and I absolutely love basically all my choices but I really love Sakamoto Days. Its like the new Spy X Family. As always yall stay safe, be cool to each other. Have a totally amazing weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another interesting WAYP. The week was some new games and some of the GOTY hunt again. Trails Through Daybreak, Emio and Metaphor with some Mario and Luigi and WWE2K24. Started Wuthering Waves too and honestly of all these Gacha games it’s the best not Hoyoverse game of all of them. Most of the weekend was spent with Mario and Luigi Brothership and Wuthering Waves. Mario and Luigi is honestly just a good comfort game and I’m not just saying that. Granted I ain’t played much because I’ve been going in on Trails Through Daybreak like Alana but I feel bad for that because it’s genuinely cute, comforting and fun it reminds of Bowsers Inside Story And with Wuthering Waves like I said it’s a game that honestly may not be the best but like I said outside of the trio of Genshin, Star Rail and Zenless it may genuinely be like 4th place then it’s fun, cute, has awesome characters and a really interesting world. And fantastic combat. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be maybe some Marvel Rivals or YS Memoire The Oath in Felghana. Didn’t start that one yet but it’s apparently stellar so I’m excited. Try to start Tales of Graces F Remastered and Donkey Kong Country Returns HD too. Genuinely wanna try to beat Emio too like for real. As a side note the Switch 2 getting announced really makes me wanna go hard in the switch and just destroy that backlog because I’m so excited. GameStop actually didn’t even get a copy of Dynasty Warriors Origins although I preordered it so we’re gonna just wait on that one. Little disappointed I won’t lie but I’m excited to crack into it when they do get a copy. The wrestling thing this week being more of WWE on Netflix. This second week of it was way better with things like the debut of Penta and Lyra Valkyria becoming the inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Here’s hoping Saturday Nights Main Event and the Royal Rumble as well as the continuing Netflix RAWs keep the good vibes going. Anime of the week gotta go to Dragon Ball Daima and Shangri La Frontier and Yakuza Fiancé and Ron Kaminohashis Forbidden Deductions and My Happy Marraige. Slotted in that last one to replace Ranma for now. Still gotta focus on the picks for Winter still dunno what we’ll do with those. As always yall stay safe, be cool to each other. Have a totally amazing weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another awesome WAYP. The week was some new games and some of the GOTY hunt again. Trails Through Daybreak, Emio and Metaphor with some Mario and Luigi and WWE2K24. Got to start that Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake. Honestly it’s a little disappointing story wise being so bare bones but the artstyle is just so charming it makes me wanna play more and more and more. Most of the weekend was spent with Yakuza Kiwami and Spy X Anya Operation Memories. Yakuza Kiwami is honestly just a good comfort game especially on the switch now and I love doing small side stuff and the Majima Everywhere system. And with Spy X Anya it’s a game that honestly may not have reviewed too well but is just cute as a button it’s genuine Spy X Family goodness from top to bottom I love it. It’s not the best I’ll admit but I love it. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some Trails Through Daybreak as like Alana I wanna destroy it before the sequel comes out. As well as maybe some Marvel Rivals or YS Memoire The Oath in Felghana or even maybe some of the story mode not the showcase mode of WWE2K24. Maybe even some Fantasian Neo Dimension. Lots to play but no idea what to pick ahahaha. Try to start Wuthering Waves too. Preordered Tales of Graces F Remastered, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Trails Through Daybreak 2, Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii and Monster Hunter Wilds. Very excited to pick up all of those. And I did some trades and got money for the first battle pass of Marvel Rivals, Spy X Anya, and YS. The wrestling thing this week being more of WWE on Netflix. This first week of it was basically just oh look how cool we are. So hopefully this second week is much more yeah storylines and of course the debut of Penta. Anime of the week gotta go to Dragon Ball Daima and Shangri La Frontier and Yakuza Fiancé and Ron Kaminohashis Forbidden Deductions and Ranma 1/2. Finished off Ranma and it’s a really cute show really solid one of my favorites easy. Now we gotta focus on the picks for Winter dunno what we’ll do with those. As always yall stay safe, be cool to each other. Have a totally awesome weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another interesting WAYP. The week was just more GOTY hunt again but with some new things. Trails Through Daybreak, Emio and Metaphor with some Mario and Luigi and YS X. Yeah with YS X we beat it finally and honestly the ending of that game was awesome it totally makes me wanna get the YS remake or whatever it is coming out on the 7th and just play more YS. Yall should definitely check it out. Most of the weekend was spent with Fantasian Neo Dimension. Started that on New Years and it’s seriously super cool honestly it reminds me of Sakaguchis previous work Lost Odyssey and I’m seriously loving it. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some Marvel Rivals or Borderlands 1 or Arranger or maybe Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 as yeah I picked that up to play with a friend and I ain’t ever tried a Warhammer thing. Beating YS X really did take away an easy pick tho ahahah. Thinking that the end of January will be the deadline for GOTY. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Emio, Dawntrail, Metaphor, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Bakeru, WWE 2K24, Wuthering Waves and Visions of Mana. Wanna start Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake as the first switch game of the year. Also wanna try to stop at GameStop and get preorders in on the first big games of the year like Dynasty Warriors Origins, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Trails Through Daybreak 2, Like A Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii and Monster Hunter Wilds. Also maybe get enough digital currency to buy a copy of YS Memoire The Oath In Felghana and Tales of Graces F Remastered. The wrestling thing this week is Monday Night Raw on Netflix. Thinking it could be excellent with some of the matches like Roman Reigns Vs Solo Sikoa in tribal combat, Rhea Ripley Vs Liv Morgan for the Woman’s World Championship, and CM Punk VS Seth Freaking Rollins. With John Cena starting his farewell tour and countless more surprises? Think we might have peak on the way. Anime of the week gotta go to Dandadan and Dragon Ball Daima and Shangri La Frontier and Yakuza Fiancé and Ron Kaminohashis Forbidden Deductions and Ranma 1/2. Dandadan got finished up and honestly it may have the best shot at anime of the year it’s legitimately one of the best things I’ve ever watched no joke. As always yall stay safe, be cool to each other. Have a totally awesome weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another awesome WAYP. The week was more of the GOTY hunt again. Trails Through Daybreak, Emio and Metaphor with some Mario and Luigi and Call of Duty Black Ops 6. Most of the weekend was spent with Silent Hill 2. For all the crap that people throw it I think Bloober Team did a good job. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some YS X Nordics or Arranger. Yet again almost done with YS and I’m super hype about it. Arranger is pretty fun. It’s quite interesting for a puzzle game. Also beat Black Ops 6 this week and that’s a good campaign it’s a lot of fun and a great spy thriller sort of thing. Got some awesome Christmas gifts this year like a FFXVI Postcard book, Marvel Vs Capcom Fighting Collection, mangas like JoJo, Spy X Family and Chainsaw Man and the crown jewel a Replica WWE belt like the one Cody Rhodes carries around. Also gave some awesome gifts. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Emio, Dawntrail, Metaphor, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Bakeru and Visions of Mana. To talk about the New Year for this holiday themed WAYP. Thinking that the first new game of the year is Tales of Graces F for the switch and the first games to work on? Fantasian Neo Dimension for PS5 and Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake for Nintendo Switch. Maybe some Black Myth Wukong and Mario and Luigi Brothership AND Trails Through Daybreak before the sequel too. The wrestling thing this week is the WWE Holiday Tour show I went to at MSG after Christmas. It was pretty hype with some of the matches like CM Punk VS Ludwig Kaiser, Damian Priest VS GUNTHER and Iyo Sky VS Liv Morgan being really cool and seeing the Wyatt Sicks in person was Magical. They’re called House Shows and honestly everyone should go to one of these they’re just genuinely good honest fun. Anime of the week gotta go to Dandadan and Dragon Ball Daima and Shangri La Frontier and Yakuza Fiancé and Ron Kaminohashis Forbidden Deductions and Ranma 1/2. Still amazing shows with Dandadan AND Dragon Ball Daima AND Yakuza Fiancé AND Ranma 1/2 continuing to be the standout ones. Gonna start collecting Dandadan mangas I think. As always yall stay safe, be cool to each other. Happy New Year to everyone I hope all of yall have a absolutely amazing and safe New Year for real. Have a totally amazing weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 21-22)

Well here we go with another amazing WAYP. The week was just the GOTY hunt again. Trails Through Daybreak, Emio and Metaphor with some Mario and Luigi and Call of Duty Black Ops 6. Most of the weekend was spent with Ace Attorney Investigations Collection and Sonic X Shadow Generations. Ace Attorney Investigations 2 is seriously super impressive it’s upsetting it took so long to get it in English only on Case 2 but it’s amazing none the less. And with Sonic we did beat Shadow Generations. Honestly that alone was a 10/10 on top of Sonic Generations again. The stages, the story, the additions to the gameplay it all adds up to one of the best Sonic things this year. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some YS X Nordics again almost done with it and I’m super hype about it even if I’m not so hype about the recently revealed Brave Nordics not cool Falcom. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Emio, Dawntrail, Metaphor, Call of Duty Black Ops 6, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Bakeru and Visions of Mana. Bought Black Myth Wukong, Balatro and Arranger so I gotta dig into that stuff too. The wrestling thing this week being AEW Worlds End. Thinking it could be pretty hype with some of the matches like the main event with Jon Moxley or the Womens Championship Matches with Mariah May, Thunder Rosa, Mercedes Mone and Kris Statlander. Oh and of course MJF vs Adam Cole BAY BAY. Saw Sonic the Hedgehog 3 this week too and uh yeah it’s absolutely amazing it may seriously be my movie of the year seeing one of my favorite games made into a movie with a absolutely stellar performance by Jim Carrey? Actually the best Sonic thing this year no joke. Anime of the week gotta go to Dandadan and Dragon Ball Daima and Shangri La Frontier and Yakuza Fiancé and Ron Kaminohashis Forbidden Deductions and Ranma 1/2. Still amazing shows with Dandadan AND Dragon Ball Daima AND Yakuza Fiancé AND Ranma 1/2 being the standout ones. As always yall stay safe, be cool to each other. Happy Holidays to everyone I hope all of yall have absolutely amazing holidays for real. Have a totally amazing weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another awesome WAYP. The week was again the GOTY hunt. Trails Through Daybreak, Emio and Metaphor with some Mario and Luigi and Sonic X Shadow Generations and Black Ops 6. Yeah Sonic is back on the lineup as the new movie is coming out and I’m pretty excited. Most of the weekend was spent with Emio and Black Ops 6. Almost done with Emio and yeah it is starting to get really intriguing and I’m super excited for them to be like yeah THATS Emio. Black Ops 6 meanwhile it really is a fun game and a great story with excellent characters like Sev and Adler. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some YS X Nordics again tho I think we’re getting close to beating it they’re usually like 10 chapter games. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Emio, Dawntrail, Metaphor, Sonic X Shadow Generations, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Super Mario Party Jamboree and Visions of Mana, Zenless Zone Zero too. Did dabble in Infinity Nikki and Marvel Rivals and both were pretty excellent tho I’m definitely more a fan of Nikki. Dragon Quest 3 HD 2D Remake and Fantasian Neo Dimension still ain’t been started and honestly post Game Awards I wanna pick up Balatro and Power Rangers so hahaha good luck to me I guess with those. Speaking of The Game Awards ruled I’m very happy with Clive in Tekken and Okami 2 and the new Naughty Dog game, Split Fiction RGGs Project Century, and Onimusha from Capcom. Think it was probably Geoff’s best show yet honestly like dude seriously killed it this show. Pretty happy Astro Bot won GOTY too it seriously is a excellent game that absolutely deserves a W like that. The wrestling things this week being WWE Saturday Nights Main Event was actually kinda just meh. The matches were fine I’m happy about the first United States Women’s Champion and the Liv and Iyo match was nice but overall kinda disappointing. Maybe RAW on NETFLIX will be a Banger. Anime of the week gotta go to Dandadan and Ranma 1/2. Yeah only did two shows this week but actually both were seriously solid and quite good. As always yall stay safe, be awesome to each other. Have a totally amazing weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another interesting WAYP. The week was mostly the GOTY hunt again. Trails Through Daybreak, Emio and Metaphor with some Mario and Luigi and Visions of Mana. But on the completing front we did finish Star Wars Outlaws and eh that sure is a game of this year that’s for sure. Love the protagonist and thought the villains were cool but otherwise just eh. Most of the weekend was spent with Emio and Tekken 8. Emio is starting to get really intriguing but at the same time it’s got a hill to climb to impress if I’m being honest. Tekken 8 on the other hand I not only beat the DLC story but got the Platinum Trophy for and absolutely loved it all that is seriously a GOTY and absolutely my fighting game of the year. And it’s got that DLC announcement at the game awards too let’s go boys. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some YS X Nordics again really just chipping away at it tho I’m definitely feeling meh on it as it goes on its villains are kinda weak. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Emio, Dawntrail, Metaphor, Sonic X Shadow Generations, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Bakeru and Visions of Mana. Maybe some Zenless Zone Zero too. There are some games I wanna dabble in like Infinity Nikki, Marvel Rivals, Dragon Quest 3 HD 2D Remake and Fantasian Neo Dimension but honestly the GOTY hunt kinda comes first I really wanna beat Metaphor for instance. The wrestling things this week being NXT Deadline is actually kinda interesting. Didn’t think it was gonna be too exciting but the Lola Vice and Jaida Parker match as well as the Women’s Iron Survivor match kinda knocked it out the park. My GOAT Giulia the Beautiful Madness winning was amazing. Next up is WWE Saturday Nights Main Event and that’s hype too. Anime of the week gotta go to Dandadan and Dragon Ball Daima and Shangri La Frontier and Yakuza Fiancé and Ron Kaminohashis Forbidden Deductions and Ranma 1/2. Still amazing shows with Dandadan being the standout one. Most of those actually ended up on the Spotify Wrapped this year so that’s hype. As always yall stay safe, be cool to each other. Have a totally awesome weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 30 - December 1)

Well here we go with another amazing WAYP. Been a stupidly amazing week around here. The week was mostly the games to work on for GOTY like Star Wars Outlaws, Visions of Mana, YS X, Emio and Metaphor. Most of the weekend was spent with Emio and Visions of Mana. Both games continue to knock it out the park Uce. Absolutely excellent. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some YS X Nordics. It also keeps knocking it out the park with excellent absolutely excellent story bits and great gameplay. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Emio, Dawntrail, Metaphor, Star Wars Outlaws, Visions of Mana, Tekken 8 Platinum, Lego Horizon, Zenless Zone Zero and really just anything that can get on the GOTY list. Probably vote for The Game Awards too and check out all the cool new stuff on the new phone I got this week too. Try too get a copy of Dragon Quest and Power Rangers too. The wrestling thing this week being Survivor Series WARGAMES just was absolutely amazing. The Women’s Wargames match, new US Champ Shinsuke Nakamura, and the Bloodline Men’s Wargames matches were absolutely splendid and honestly even the Gunther and Damian and Intercontinental Triple Threat match were splendid too. Anime of the week gotta go to Dandadan and Ranma 1/2. Not as many picks this week but they are absolutely two bangers no doubt there absolutely splendid. As always yall stay safe, be awesome to each other. Have a totally amazing weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 23-24)

Ryne-Gaia

Well here we are with another awesome WAYP. Been a stupidly awesome week around here. The week was mostly games like Trails Through Daybreak, Emio, Tekken 8 and Metaphor. Most of the weekend was spent with Emio and Zelda and YS X. Emio continues to be amazing and I still have no guess on who the actual criminal is. Beat Zelda and honestly the ending made me really sad but the villain of this game may be my favorite Zelda Villain? It was really really fresh and cool. And YS X continues being the sleeper GOTY hit of the year it’s so riveting. Also on the Tekken front I’m two trophies away from the Platinum so I’m gonna try to shoot for that soon. That’s GOTY contender too. Also got Lego Horizon like mentioned before and honestly that game is pleasant fun it’s nothing insane but it’s really quite cute and fun. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some Metaphor or Star Wars Outlaws I’m really undecided maybe even Visions of Mana can get a solid shot if it wants because on one hand I wanna beat Metaphor before TGA but the other two have been sitting around for months. Speaking of TGA those nominations eh? I’m rooting for Astro Bot, FFVII Rebirth and Metaphor Refantazio if any of them win I’m happy. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Emio, Dawntrail, Metaphor, Tekken 8 Plat, Star Wars Outlaws, Visions of Mana, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Mario and Luigi Brothership and maybe some YS X. Only two games I’m really interested in getting the rest of the year would be physical versions of Dragon Quest III HD-2D and Marvel Vs Capcom Fighting Collection. The wrestling thing this week being AEW Full Gear. A seriously great PPV that was well worth what I caught of it. Excellent matches like the Women’s Match with Mercedes and Kris, the Swerve and Bobby match, the BOOMTASTIC Costco Guys Match and the Main Event of Jon Moxley VS Orange Cassidy having a absolute banger of a end to the whole PPV with runouts of another great match Hangman Adam Page and Switchblade Jay White. Simply outstanding. Anime of the week gotta go to Dandadan and Dragon Ball Daima and Shangri La Frontier and Yakuza Fiancé and Ron Kaminohashis Forbidden Deductions and Ranma 1/2. Yeah same as before absolutely all stellar picks. Yall really should go check out the choices for Best Adaptation like the Yakuza show and Tomb Raider and Fallout show they’re all really good comfort shows. As always yall stay safe, be awesome to each other. Have a totally awesome weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another crazy WAYP. Been a awesome week around here. The week was full of games like Metaphor and Black Ops 6 and was a lot of fun like very very fun the progress I’m making has me quite happy. Got to dig into Mario And Luigi Brothership and Dragon Age The Veilguard and both were quite excellent probably some GOTY contenders there no lie. Most of the weekend was spent with Emio and Visions of Mana. Yeah I’m trying to get back to Visions of Mana and Star Wars Outlaws and the like before GOTY season really gets into gear. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some YS X Nordics that game seriously continues to impress and wow. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Zelda, Trails Through Daybreak, Emio, Dawntrail, Metaphor, Tekken 8 for that platinum, Mario Party, Brothership, Eiyuden Chronicles Hundred Heroes, Visions of Mana and yeah Star Wars Outlaws. Think I’ll maybe pick up that Lego Horizon Adventures and that Tekken 8 stage too. The wrestling things this week being AEW Full Gear which I’ve been invited to watch with some buddies. Stands to be some cool matches like Swerve Vs Bobby and Jon Moxley Versus Orange Cassidy. Also those Costco Guys on the pre show should be excited. Anime of the week gotta go to and Dragon Ball Daima and Ranma 1/2. Yeah only two picks this week but that’s because of that Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fight I was more watching that this week actually. As always yall stay safe, be awesome to each other. Have a totally awesome weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 9-10)

Ryne-Gaia

Well here we go with another wild WAYP. Been a stupidly cool week around here. The week was mostly the games I wanted to focus on beating like Zelda, Astro Bot, Trails Through Daybreak, Emio and Metaphor. Most of the weekend was spent with Emio and Astro Bot. Emio continues to be an amazing mystery that has me enthralled. Astro Bot on the other hand I not only beat but got the Platinum Trophy for and absolutely loved it all that is seriously a GOTY. Also dabbled in Life Is Strange Double Exposure and Slitterhead like I wanted and they were both really good LIS being like Emio and having a engaging hook and Slitterhead being a wonderful horror experience just a shame it wasn’t a Halloween pick. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some YS X Nordics I really really liked what I played and wanna get a really solid session of it in to really dig in. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Zelda, Trails Through Daybreak, Emio, Dawntrail, Metaphor, BLOPS6, Sonic X Shadow Generations and hopefully dabbling in both Mario and Luigi Brothership and Dragon Age The Veilguard on my day off as yeah I picked them both up and they both look exceedingly amazing. Think I’ll maybe pick up that Metal Slug Tactics too. Also kinda considering looking into a PS5 Pro. And yeah Dawntrail is back on the menu because we got Patch 7.1 Crossroads coming out. The wrestling things this week being the build to Survivor Series WARGAMES just has me so hype currently we just have the Bloodline War but I can’t wait for them to build the rest of the card it’s so hype. Anime of the week gotta go to Oshi No Ko and Dandadan and Dragon Ball Daima and Shangri La Frontier and Yakuza Fiancé and Ron Kaminohashis Forbidden Deductions and Ranma 1/2. Yeah we got all our picks for fall and they re seriously peak picks like go check them out. As always yall stay safe, be awesome to each other. Have a totally cool weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 2-3)

Ryne-Gaia

Well here we go with another jampacked WAYP. Been a stupidly awesome week around here. Lots of new games came out. Most of the weekend was spent with Zelda and Ys X with a little Yakuza Kiwami and yeah all of those are extremely awesome I’m loving them all. Sure Yakuza I’ve already played but man it’s such a cozy switch game. Ys X is also like probably the best of that series by far so far. Getting real big GOW: Ragnarok vibes. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some Astro Bot as I would like to beat that game next alongside Metaphor as well. Yeah that’s right no Dawntrail because I beat it. Very touching and amazing Yoshi P and his team knocked it out the park again. Also dabbled into Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and Shadows of the Damned Hella Remastered and those too were excellent COD in particular seriously impressed me. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Zelda, Trails Through Daybreak, Emio, Astro Bot, Metaphor, BLOPS6, Sonic X Shadow Generations and hopefully dabbling in both the new Life Is Strange and Slitterhead. Very excited for them. Also Mario and Luigi Brothership comes out this week and I’m looking to pick that up and a copy of Dragon Age: The Veilguard too since that reviewed well. Also started at my new store since the old one shut down and honestly it’s seriously amazing it’s a great store. The two wrestling things this week being WWE Halloween Havoc and WWE Crown Jewel were seriously cool. A lot of excellent matches between the two with amazing wrestlers like Giulia, Trick Williams, Liv Morgan, LA Knight, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa and so many more. Now we’re on the road to SURVIVOR SERIES WARGAMES and I just can’t wait. Anime of the week gotta go to Oshi No Ko and Dandadan and Dragon Ball Daima. Yeah we’re full swing into fall and for instance even that new Dragon Ball is seriously peak stuff you guys it seriously rules. As always yall stay safe, be stupidly awesome to each other. Have a totally wacky weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 26-27)

Ryne-Gaia

Well here we go with another superb WAYP. Been an absolutely amazing and superb week around here. Most of the week was just the usual games like Dawntrail and Metaphor. Similar plots funny enough and easily two strong GOTY contenders. Didn’t game much this weekend outside of some Dawntrail but that’s because I had yet again one of the absolute best days ever going to the city to see Friday Night SMACKDOWN in Brooklyn. Got some cool shirts from the merch shop and got to see 2 showings as it was a double taping and just had the coolest time. Played some Mario Party Jamboree too and man that game is superb it’s a lot of fun and super charming and I’d dare say best of the Mario Party games. Thinking the rest of the weekend will be some more Zelda and I’m thinking Call of Duty Black Ops 6.Yeah I think I’ll crack into the campaign as I’ve been really excited and interested in it. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Ace Attorney, Trails Through Daybreak, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Paper Mario, Bakeru, Dawntrail, Astro Bot, Emio, Star Wars Outlaws, Silent Hill 2, DB Sparking, Metaphor and Visions of Mana.Think on my day off I’m gonna crack into YS X as yes I finally got to buy that and it is absolutely hype. Also got Halloween this week and I’m celebrating in style with some Alan Wake 2 The Lake House leading into Halloween, setting up some scares for trick or treaters and after that a little Shadows of the Damned Hella Remastered for Halloween night as my special Halloween game I do every year. And also at some point getting around to watching NXT Halloween Havoc. Only other wrestling thing this week is short and simple. WWE Crown Jewel is coming up and honestly it’s looking kinda hype we got like a possible 7 card set up including some cool matches like a 4 way woman’s tag team match or Seth Freaking Rollins versus Big Bronson Reed. Anime of the week gotta go to Dandadan. Yep just one anime this week because of the SMACKDOWN showing since it was so late to get home. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast, Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Last Stand Media, Easy Allies, Second Wind, Nextlander, Cultaholic Wrestling, Weapon Wheel, Aetheryte Radio and Remap Radio. As always yall stay safe, be extremely superb to each other. Have a totally superb weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another magnificent WAYP. Been an absolutely cool week around here. Most of the week was just the usual games like Silent Hill 2 and Star Wars and Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. Played a brand new simply amazing game known as Metaphor Refantazio. Ain’t put too much time into it but I can already tell from art style and other things that this may just be the GOTY easy I absolutely love it and can’t wait to play more of it. Didn’t game much this weekend outside of some Ace Attorney Investigations 2 and The Plucky Squire but that’s because yep I was in the city again. This time it was for my grandmas belated birthday and it was loads of fun I love NYC and had some great food and great times with her in Chinatown and her apartment but as I was heading home I got to stop at Nintendo NY and got a copy of Super Mario Party Jamboree there. The vibes were immaculate and lovely and I’m very happy and excited to crack into that game on my day off this week probably alongside Sonic X Shadow Generations now that I think on it. This weeks also when Black Ops 6 and Ys X come out too so busy week ehehehe. Thinking the rest of the weekend will be some Metaphor depending on when I get home from the city again. Yes that’s right back to back trips to NYC. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Ace Attorney, Trails Through Daybreak, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Paper Mario, Bakeru, Dawntrail, Astro Bot, Emio, Star Wars Outlaws, Silent Hill 2, DB Sparking and Visions of Mana. Only wrestling thing this week is that this week I go on Friday to see Friday Night SMACKDOWN live from Brooklyn at the Barclays Center and aside from wanting to get some sweet merch from the merch store there it’s gonna be a double taping meaning I get two shows for the price of one and I’m just so happy and excited for a great time with my friends. Anime of the week gotta go to Nokotan, Dandadan, Alya, Oshi and Ranma 1/2. Yep as you can see I did add two new shows in Dandadan and Ranma and honestly both are absolutely peak I loved them both so much easily best shows of the year contender right there. As always yall stay safe, be extremely magnificent to each other. Have a totally magnificent weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another fantastic WAYP. Been an absolutely amazing and cool week around here. Most of the week was just the usual games like Dawntrail and Zenless Zone Zero. Played two brand new simply amazing games those being Silent Hill 2 and Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. Silent Hill 2 is honestly a perfect game for this time of year and I’m absolutely loving it. While Dragon Ball is simply just pure immaculate fun and lovely. Didn’t game much this weekend outside of some Ace Attorney Investigations 2 and The Plucky Squire but that’s because I had one of the absolute best days ever going to the city with one of the greatest people I’ve ever known. Said it before in these WAYPs but there are things way better than games and this was one of them. Did play some board games with this girl and hey they were super fun. Thinking the rest of the weekend will be some more Zelda and I guess Silent Hill 2. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Ace Attorney, Trails Through Daybreak, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Paper Mario, Bakeru, Dawntrail, Astro Bot, Emio, Star Wars Outlaws, Silent Hill 2, DB Sparking amd Visions of Mana. Think on my day off I’m gonna crack into Metaphor ReFantazio since I got that collector’s edition coming and so I’m super duper hype for that. Only wrestling thing this week is short and simple. WWE Crown Jewel is coming up and eh the hype levels are low beyond hey some RAWs and Smackdowns will have cool crossover moments with the champs like Liv and Nia. Anime of the week gotta go to Nokotan. Yep just one anime this week because of the date in NYC. Gonna give that Dandadan a try tho it’s amazing apparently. As always yall stay safe, be extremely spectacular to each other. Have a totally spectacular weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 5-6)

Ryne-Gaia

Well here we go with another stunning WAYP. Been a nice and awesome week around here. Most of the week was just the usual games like Dawntrail and Plucky Squire. Most of the weekend when not working was taken up by The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom and more Astro Bot. Zelda is absolutely honestly a GOTY contender I can’t think of a more fun and exciting and soothing game I’ve played this year than this one it’s genuinely one of a kind and absolutely worth it. And much the same can be said of Astro Bot that game continues to be a fun and surprising time all the way around. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking will be more Zelda and starting that Silent Hill 2 Remake as I do have the deluxe early access. Never played a Silent Hill before so pretty excited. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Ace Attorney, Trails Through Daybreak, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Paper Mario, Bakeru, Dawntrail, Astro Bot, Emio, Star Wars Outlaws and Visions of Mana and Plucky Squire. Gonna focus on trying to beat Dawntrail this week but also fitting in some Dragon Ball Sparking Zero (proud sponser of the Damian Priest/Finn Balor match at WWE Bad Blood) since I also got the deluxe early access on that too. Preordered the Sonic X Shadow Generations Deluxe Edition this week so pretty hype and happy about that. Did a preorder for the Collector’s Edition of Metaphor Refantazio on Amazon so it’ll come a little after the game comes out but that’s fine because I have plans with the most awesome person ever in the world when that comes out so I don’t mind one bit. Also got some PSN money that I think I’m gonna use to preorder Slitterhead Deluxe Edition and save some for when Ys X: Nordics comes out I’m very excited for that. Only wrestling thing I wanna mention this week is the amazing WWE Bad Blood. From the start with CM Punk and Drew in HIAC to the main event of Cody and Roman VS the New Bloodline it was a solid and beautiful 9/10 PLE. Absolutely amazing minus the Rhea and Liv and Nia and Bayley match. But that says how strong the other 3 were to make up for it. Anime of the week gotta go to Nokotan. Yep only got one anime this week as I skipped normal anime night to go on a early morning walk with a friend and cook Deviled Eggs as from the FFXIV cookbook. Absolutely excellent time all around. As always yall stay safe, be extremely incredible to each other. Have a totally incredible weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another exciting WAYP. Been a nice and chill week around here. Most of the week was just the usual games like Dawntrail and Astro Bot and Emio. Most of the weekend when not working was taken up by Emio The Smiling Man and more The Plucky Squire. Plucky Squire is seriously so charming and an easy GOTY contender. Rest of the weekend is probably gonna be a little Emio and some Visions of Mana. Maybe Star Wars. I do have Zelda but I’ll probably save it for the day off on Friday. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Ace Attorney, Trails Through Daybreak, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Paper Mario, Bakeru, Dawntrail, Astro Bot, Emio, Star Wars Outlaws, The Plucky Squire and Visions of Mana. Also got some PSN money that I think I’m gonna use to preorder Sonic X Shadow Generations, Slitterhead and Lego Horizon Adventures. That State of Play and Sonic Central were seriously awesome I loved them a lot. Very happy with the Monster Hunter Wilds news. Wrestling this week is quite simple this upcoming Saturday is WWE Bad Blood and I couldn’t be more hype this is gonna be the blow off of all blow offs for so many feuds. Suffice to say I’m pretty sure everyone with a match at Bad Blood has some bad blood with their opponent. Got plans to cook something from my FFXIV Cookbook with a friend that day too. Anime of the week gotta go to Nokotan, Alya Sometimes Speaks in Russian, Oshi No Ko and Mission Yozakura Family. Again all of these anime are absolutely killing it they rule. Also gotta mention Mr. McMahon on Netflix a very very interesting little documentary I’m interested to watch more of. Saw Transformers One this week too and it was seriously excellent one of the best movies of the year. As always yall stay safe, be super awesome to each other. Have a totally exciting weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another wonderful WAYP. Been a great and cool week around here. Speaking of cool Happy Fall to everyone. Easily my favorite time of year. Most of the week was just the usual games like Trails Into Daybreak and Dawntrail. Cracked open that Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP AND Plucky Squire and honestly of the two loved Plucky Squire more it’s just so charming whereas Lollipop well it still feels outdated for sure. Also played Yars Rising and honestly that game is incredibly charming and loads of fun. Most of the weekend when not working was taken up by Emio Famicom Detective Club, Trails into Daybreak and more Star Wars Outlaws. Trying to see Tranformers One with a friend but if that falls through I’m thinking the rest of the weekend will be again more Trails and Visions of Mana. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Ace Attorney, Trails Through Daybreak, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Paper Mario, Bakeru, Dawntrail, Astro Bot, Emio, WWE 2K24, Star Wars Outlaws, The Plucky Squire and Visions of Mana. Think I’m gonna try to crack open the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster on my day off. Of course like most people here I’m also excited for the release of Echoes of Wisdom. So freaking hype. Also preordered that Silent Hill 2 Remake and still have that money put aside for Yakuza Kiwami on Switch and YS X on PS5 so pretty happy there. Also got that WWE2K24 Global Superstars DLC I was waiting on so I think alongside it I’ll wrap up the Showcase mode of that game I really am happy about adding wrestlers like Lyra Valkyria and Kairi Sane to that game. Only other wrestling thing I wanna mention this week is short and simple. WWE Bad Blood has pretty sure all of its matches decided like Rhea Vs Liv and Cody with Roman Vs Solo and Jacob and I just can’t wait I’m so hype. I’m especially interested to see who faces Nia Jax there: Bayley or Naomi. Anime of the week gotta go to Nokotan, Alya Sometimes Speaks in Russian, Oshi No Ko and Mission Yozakura Family. Again all of these anime are absolutely killing it they are some of the best anime this year. As always yall stay safe, be extremely wonderful to each other. Have a totally wonderful weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another nice WAYP. Been a nice and cool week around here. Most of the week was just the usual games like Dawntrail and Star Wars. Most of the weekend when not working was taken up by the Grand Festival in Splatoon 3 and more Visions of Mana. Made it to Future Defender rank in Splatoon 3 and the only shame is it’s probably the last Splatfest and I just absolutely love these little things. The way they changed the map too? Excellent. Made it to Chapter 4 surprisingly in Visions of Mana. I say surprisingly because Chapter 1 felt really long while Chapters 2 and 3 were quick. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Ace Attorney, Trails Through Daybreak, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Paper Mario, Bakeru, Dawntrail, Astro Bot, Emio, Star Wars Outlaws and Visions of Mana. Think on my day off I’m gonna crack into Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP so I’m super hype for that. Also got the Original Capcom Fighting Collection on a sale this week so I’m excited to try that. Think this is also the week Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster and The Plucky Squire comes out so I’ll be hype for those. Also got some PSN money that I think I’m gonna use to preorder Silent Hill 2 Remake and save some for when Ys X: Nordics comes out I’m very excited for that. Only wrestling thing I wanna mention this week is short and simple. WWE Bad Blood has most of its matches decided like Rhea Vs Liv and Cody with Roman Vs Solo and Jacob and I just can’t wait I’m so hype. Well here we go with another wild WAYP. Been a wild cool week around here. Most of the week was just the usual games like Dawntrail and SMTV: Vengeance and some new stuff like Star Wars Outlaws and BAKERU which both were exceedingly amazing. Most of the weekend when not working was taken up by the Big Run in Splatoon 3 and more Visions of Mana. Got those new Splatoon Amiibos in and they are absolutely beautiful. Also picked up my copies of Ace Attorney Investigations Collection and Astro Bot. Very excited to play those. Also got like 100$ in Eshop money for lots of cool stuff like Baten Kaitos HD and even preorder money for Yakuza Kiwami. Once I’ve spent it on my day off I’ll list what I bought next WAYP. Also with the news on Concord this week I got my refund so I’m gonna go ahead and preorder something special. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some of the COD Black Ops 6 Beta as yes if I enjoy that beta I’m going to use the refund money for a copy of Black Ops 6. Pretty sure it’ll be my first Day 1 COD. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Ace Attorney, Trails Through Daybreak, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Paper Mario, Bakeru, Dawntrail, Astro Bot, Emio, P3R: The Answer, Star Wars Outlaws and Visions of Mana. Think this is also the week Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP comes out so I’ll be excited for that one. Only wrestling thing I wanna mention this week is short and simple. AEW All Out. Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland. Unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage Match. I’m now a AEW fan too. Anime of the week gotta go to Nokotan, Alya Sometimes Speaks in Russian, Oshi No Ko and Mission Yozakura Family. Yeah got some new ones in here and one of them Nokotan is actually anime of the season I’m absolutely loving it. Alya is extremely cute too. As always yall stay safe, be wildly awesome to each other. Have a totally cool weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another jampacked WAYP. Been a stupidly awesome week around here. Lots of new games came out, I got those JJK volumes I mentioned and it’s another jam packed week like that again this week too. Loved that dual direct inside world I think my favorite announcement was Atelier Yumia tho I also picked up the Castlevania Collection so that’s probably hyped thing number 2. Most of the week was just the usual games like Dawntrail and SMTV: Vengeance and some Trails Through Daybreak. Also tried Concord and yeah it really is not as half bad as people make it out to be I had some solid fun with it on my day off it’s not like I felt it ruined my day off or something. Also got a preorder in on that new Life Is Strange so very excited for October when it comes out. But then yesterday I got to boot up both Emio and Visions of Mana and man oh man the good gaming time has arrived. Both were absolutely amazing and cozy. Emio felt like a warm blanket on a cold winters day. And Visions feels like the brightest most colorful thing in the world and I love the story so far. Characters too. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some SMTV: Vengeance as I still would like to beat that game before The Answer and Metaphor come out. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Monster Hunter Stories, Trails Through Daybreak, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Paper Mario, Bakeru, Dawntrail, Dragons Dogma 2, Emio, Concord, Star Wars Outlaws and Visions of Mana. Got the new Splatoon amiibos coming in this week and this is also when Astro Bot and Ace Attorney Investigations Collection comes out as well as Bakeru so I’m very excited for all of it. WWE Bash In Berlin was super hype I loved it. The best match was probably a 3 way tie between the Rhea Ripley match, the CM Punk match and the Gunther match they were seriously so incredible. Now we just wait until October and Bad Blood. That one I’m so hype for. Anime of the week gotta go to Oshi No Ko and Mission Yozakura Family. Yeah only got two anime this week as I saw the new Alien movie Alien Romulus on anime day and having never seen a Alien movie outside of Prometheus I have to say it was pretty freaking good. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast, Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Last Stand Media, Easy Allies, Second Wind, Nextlander, Cultaholic Wrestling and Remap Radio. As always yall stay safe, be stupidly awesome to each other. Have a totally wacky weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 24-25)

Ryne-Gaia

Well here we go with another amazing WAYP. Been a stupendous week around here. On the Switch I made it through Chapter 1 of Trails Through Daybreak and honestly I absolutely love it. The trails games never seem to miss one bit. Love Agnés the most of this cast. Otherwise I beat FFVII Rebirth which honestly may be GOTY it absolutely destroyed me and is an absolute work of art. But that’s not the only one I also beat PERSONA 3 RELOAD. Yes after 6 months I finally beat Persona 3 for the first time. I would never have been able to do it without the help of my best friend and I send these to him each week so I wanna say right here thank you to him. Now I get like two weeks off of P3R until The Answer comes out and then it’s ALL IN again. Also played a little Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD and man do I still love that game too it’s so cozy and fun. Also bought all of JJK from a guy on eBay and what with the series ending I’m pretty excited for those. Also got a preorder in on Bakeru and can’t wait for that. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some Dawntrail in celebration of FFVII Rebirth and P3R being done. Certainly the two games I’m swapping in their place are gonna be Dawntrail and SMTV:V. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Monster Hunter Stories, Trails Through Daybreak, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Dragons Dogma 2, Emio when that ships and gets in, Concord, Star Wars Outlaws and Visions of Mana. Those last 4 are all first time play sessions since three of them come out this week. I do wanna give Concord its fair shake tho I’m not just gonna mindlessly hate it. Getting super hype for WWE Bash In Berlin too that’s gonna be kinda cool. I seriously can’t wait for Kevin Vs Cody, Rhea and Damian Vs Liv and Dirty Dom, CM Punk Vs Drew, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn vs Jade and Bianca and GUNTHER Vs Randy Orten. That’s right all the matches are announced and I’m gonna update my rating and say it’s a solid A Tier PLE. Anime of the week gotta go to Mayonaka Punch, VTUBER Legend, Oshi No Ko and Mission Yozakura Family. Oshi No Ko continues to be magnificent like always and Mission Yozakura Family is gonna sub in for Delicious in Dungeon as the long lasting 24 episode show. And a special shoutout to a show I got absolutely addicted to this week and destroyed the first season of, Only Murders In The Building. Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin are absolutely amazing and it’s such a wonderful show. As always yall stay safe, be stupendous to each other. Have a totally awesome weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 17-18)

Well here we go with another wild WAYP. Been an exciting week around here. On the Switch I made it through most of my favorite chapter of Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door: Chapter 3 where I got a blue Yoshi which made me very happy. I think it’s just the vibes of the Glitz Pit that make it my favorite. Also made it to the last world in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble. Excited to wrap that one up. Also got that physical copy of Sea of Stars I mentioned before and I honestly kinda love it all over again. Otherwise I made it to the endgame of both Persona 3 Reload and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and I’m quite happy there. Thinking the rest of the weekend will just be a Persona 3 Reload weekend. If planned out right I could beat both it and FFVII Rebirth by next weeks journal. Wish me luck ahahaha. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Paper Mario, more P3R, Trails Through Daybreak, FFVII Rebirth, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Dragons Dogma 2, Sea of Stars and maybe trying to beat Famicom Detective Club: The Girl Who Stands Behind before Emio releases later this month. It’s gonna be next week when all the preorders start rolling in like Star Wars Outlaws and Visions of Mana but I already got one preorder coming in this week with Concord. Genuinely kinda excited for that one as I enjoyed the beta. Also got preorders in this week on Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster and Lollipop Chainsaw RePop so September will be very zombie filled ahahaha. Oh and I’ll get The Plucky Squire for free off of PS Plus so I’m also super hype on that. Almost bit on a preorder for Dragon Age The Veilguard butttttttt nah. Getting super hype for WWE Bash In Berlin too that’s gonna be kinda cool. I seriously can’t wait for Kevin Vs Cody, Rhea and Damian Vs Liv and Dirty Dom and GUNTHER Vs Randy Orten. Gonna say it’s a solid B Tier PLE. Anime of the week gotta go to Delicious in Dungeon. Yeah it’s the only one I watched this week but I also finished it and I can’t wait for more. Think I’m gonna get the box set so I can own all of the manga. Special shoutout to Emily in Paris on Netflix tho it just got a new season and after I figure out how to incorporate watching NXT alongside RAW and SMACKDOWN to complete my WWE collection you could say I think I’ll dive into Season 3 of Emily since that’s where I left off and catch up. Such a cute comfort show. As always yall stay safe, be magnificent to each other. Have a fantastic weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another cool WAYP. Been a nice week around here. Beat Stellar Blade and that game was honestly a whole lot of fun. Decent ending and would definitely look forward to a sequel or DLC. Bosses were the best part of the game easy. Also played some Splatoon 3 this weekend for the Splatfest. Picked Team Bread amd became the rank of Bread Defender. Definitely gonna go hog wild on the next one since it’s the grandfest and most likely the last one. Also did some Kunitsu Gami and I think that game is gonna go on the back burner. Bought Fate/Stay Night Remastered amd Tsukihime a piece of blue glass moon. Excited to get into those after some Witch in the Holy Night. Also got a preorder on Yars Rising. Been excited for that since seeing it in I think a Indie World earlier this year. Think the rest of the weekend is gonna be a Persona 3 Reload session. Think I have it planned out in a way that I should only have 5 or 6 more sessions of that game. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Paper Mario, more P3R and Dragons Dogma 2, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble, Trails Through Daybreak, FFVII Rebirth, and FFXIV Dawntrail, WWE2K24, Luigi’s Mansion 2 and countless more I’m probably missing ahahaha. Goal is same as before just clear out most or all of the first half of years of games before the second half really kicks off. And that second half basically kicks off when Concord comes out. Trying to get a copy of Sea of Stars now too since Sony is gonna take it away. Also gonna try to remember to use my PSN money to preorder Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP and Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. Excited for the end of this month for WWE Bash In Berlin the two currently announced matches of GUNTHER vs Randy Orten and Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens have me very excited. Anime of the week gotta go to Mayonaka Punch, VTUBER Legend, Oshi No Ko, and Delicious in Dungeon. Those first two are real standouts of this season of anime they’re excellent. As always yall stay safe, be splendid to each other. Have a stupendous weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 3-4)

Well here we go with another awesome WAYP. Been an incredible week. Almost beat Stellar Blade and secured preorders for the Deluxe Edition of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero and Shadows of the Damned Hella Remastered. Also bought the ECW Punk pack for WWE2K24 with the reward points I got from PlayStation Stars for that. Very happy about it because I love CM Punk. Also ordered a copy of Tokyo Xanadu Ex+ for switch. Owned the original on PS4 and always said well it feels like it fits on Switch and here we are. Can’t wait to boot it up on my day off. Also scored a awesome deal of the Borderlands Pandora’s Box collection for $37 instead of 150 so I think that means at some point a Borderlands Marathon is on the books like my Uncharted and Resident Evil marathons before it. Also might wanna see that movie too. Speaking of movies I saw Deadpool and Wolverine this week with my best friend and man that was a terrific movie seriously I think it may be easy top 3, definitely a comfort movie I would watch on Disney Plus again if it came out there. Otherwise I enjoyed some more Trails Through Daybreak and FFXIV: Dawntrail. Took a little for both to click but man I just love both of those games so much I really wanna pour loads more into them. Thinking the rest of the weekend will just be a Persona 3 Reload weekend. Made it to December and that means there’s just that and January left. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Paper Mario, more P3R and beating Stellar Blade, Luigi’s Mansion, Trails Through Daybreak, beating Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble, FFVII Rebirth, Kunitsu Gami and Dragon’s Dogma 2.. Also think I’m gonna try to get some Eshop money this week to secure copies of Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night Remastered which just got a release for this week. Already own Witch on the Holy Night on PS4 so I think I wanna try to beat all three of those visual novels before the end of the year. WWE SummerSlam too was absolutely amazing I got to see it with my best friend and stepdad and it was just absolutely peak. I won’t go in depth and spoil for those who haven’t seen it yet but I don’t think there was a bad match the whole thing. The pop for a certain comeback was so loud it was absolutely insane. I think my standouts would be Cody Vs Solo, Rhea Vs Liv, and CM Punk Vs Drew. Let’s just say that this weeks RAW and SMACKDOWN are gonna be absolutely amazing. And I got surprised with tickets for SMACKDOWN in October which I am absolutely stoked for as that will almost certainly be building up for a Bloodline Civil War Wargames at Survivor Series in November. Anime of the week gotta go to Demon Slayer, Oshi No Ko, Vtuber Legend and Delicious in Dungeon. Demon Slayer was excellent especially and I’m very interested to see the trilogy of movies they’ve announced to end the series. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast, Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Last Stand Media, Easy Allies, Second Wind, Nextlander, Cultaholic Wrestling, Aetheryte Radio and Remap Radio. As always yall stay safe, be incredible to each other. Have a beautiful weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Well here we go with another awesome WAYP. Been a cool week around here. Just been doing more work on the games of the summer. Got to try Arranger thanks to Netflix tho and that game is amazing and adorable I see it’s only like 5 hours long and that may be like the first game I play fully on my phone. Dabbled in some Under Night In Birth 2 Sys: Celes and the new character Uzuki and she’s so fun and that game is definitely on GOTY contender lists. Did some more Dawntrail and I gotta say that expansion is finally clicking. Don’t get why people hate it I really don’t. The rest of the weekend will just be a Persona 3 Reload weekend I think. We’re finally in November so all that leaves is December and January. Snagged all those things I talked about in the last WAYP like the Tekken 8 season pass and the Guilty Gear Strive Season 4 Season Pass. And the previously mentioned UNIST 2 Season Pass too. And a copy of Star Wars Outlaws. Got to play some Lidia Sobieska for Tekken and honestly she’s so much fun it’s great they added her in 8 after she was so forgotten in 7. Picked up another pack of PSN cards this week tho and that bundle is gonna go to probably my last digital preorders for now which will be the Deluxe Edition of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero and Shadows of the Damned Hella Remastered. Think I may also make a attempt to pick up a copy of Tokyo Xanadu Ex+ too. Very excited about that Dragon Ball tho it gets 3 day early access AND the season pass for that game. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Paper Mario, more P3R and some Stellar Blade, Monster Hunter Stories, Trails Through Daybreak, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, FFVII Rebirth, Kunitsu Gami and countless others I’m probably missing ahahaha. Goal is same as before just clear out most or all of the first half of years of games before the second half really kicks off. Definitely gotta think about how to tackle games like Dragons Dogma 2 or Rise of the Ronin. Still incredibly hype for WWE Summerslam too that’s gonna be so hype on Saturday I seriously can’t wait for Solo Vs Cody, Rhea Vs Liv, LA Knight Vs Logan Paul, CM Punk Vs Drew McIntyre with Special Guest Referee Seth Freaking Rollins and so many more seriously it’s like 10 matches so far. Excited to see more Jacob Fatu in action and maybe the Return of Roman Reigns and maybe just maybe some Wyatt Sicks spookiness? Anime of the week gotta go to Kaiju No.8, Oshi No Ko, Delicious in Dungeon, Plus Sized Elf and Urusei Yatsura of course. Plus Sized Elf is wonderfully perfectly silly and I recommend it highly. Finished off Kaiju No 8 and Urusei Yatsura and I’ll just say this Kaiju No 8 was pretty good and had some cool things going down in it but Urusei Yatsura? A genuine work of art that was absolutely beautiful and I think everyone should check out and I hope to one day proudly own all of it. Think I’ll try to enjoy some of the Olympics that are on and I hope all of yall do too. Rooting for Team USA Basketball, Skateboarding and Swimming baby. Bring home the Gold everyone. As always yall stay safe, be incredible to each other. Have a terrific weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 20-21)

Ryne-Gaia

Well here we go with another interesting WAYP. Been a weird week around here. Wanna start with a little sadness but yet some inner peace. Whats gotten me down these past couple weeks has kinda led to a conclusive end. They’ll probably never see this and who knows maybe one day down the line we’ll be back again but for now farewell Agent Gap and Akibread. Perhaps one day we’ll meet again. Agent Gap you’ll always be my sweet Miorine. To lighter topics uh I played that new Nintendo World Championships and honestly that game is way way nicer neater and better then I ever expected. I’m really getting to enjoy these old games I didn’t think I ever would. Definitely loving it a lot. Not really gonna get another shot at Concord but again I reiterate how fun it is I cant wait for full release. Also saw that new Nick Cage movie LONGLEGS. Incredible movie I loved it a lot. Real big Alan Wake vibes from it I loved it. Thinking the rest of the weekend will just be a Persona 3 Reload or FFXIV Dawntrail weekend. Gotta keep working at that game if I want to beat it by my deadline of August 19th a fitting full moon. The weekend is also EVO Weekend so I’m looking forward to the other announcements of the weekend like Guilty Gear and Tekken and so on. Already getting Mature and Vice for KOFXV was pretty sweet. Probably after all the announcements are all said and done I’m thinking of either getting a presumed Season 4 Pass for Guilty Gesr Strive and the Tekken 8 pass since those are the only ones I think will be purchasable since vice and mature are December 😔 and a standard edition of Star Waes Outlaws or just the presumed GGST pass and a gold edition of Star Wars Outlaws. Snagged preorders on Emio and the new Splatoon amiibos so that’s also pretty sweet too. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Paper Mario, more P3R and some Stellar Blade, Monster Hunter Stories, Trails Through Daybreak, FFVII Rebirth Kunitsu Gami and countless more I’m probably missing ahahaha. Goal is same as before just clear out most or all of the first half of years of games before the second half really kicks off. Speaking of Monster Hunter I now own all the Monster Hunter Stories Amiibos and they are so freaking cool. Getting super hype for WWE Summerslam too that’s gonna be so hype I seriously can’t wait for Solo Vs Cody, Rhea Vs Liv and so many more. Anime of the week gotta go to Kaiju No.8, Oshi No Ko, Delicious in Dungeon and Urusei Yatsura of course. As always yall stay safe, be incredible to each other. Love those who love you. Have an beautiful weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 13-14)

Ryne-Gaia

Well here we go with another excellent WAYP. Been a weird week around here. Still feeling kinda depressed but also the depression breaking a little I guess? Weekends been mostly busy with work tho I did get two nice Summer Nights Splatfest days in Splatoon 3. Beautiful colors the whole time and honestly winning or losing I genuinely had a good time regardless with it so that was awesome. Also tried out the Concord beta on PS5 and honestly while I was a little eh on it at first once I played a couple matches I enjoyed it. Thought I wouldn’t be able to play my “waifu” character Haymar but then I realized the optimal way to play her and it was loads of fun. And having those live service goals that get paid out like job tickets getting the bottom part torn off upon completion? Crazy satisfying. Looking forward to the full game. Thinking the rest of the weekend will just be a Persona 3 Reload weekend or FFXIV Dawntrail. Again it really comes down to just how I feel and what I want of my games. The rest of the week is honestly gonna reflect the rest of the summer minus the addition of games like Kunitsu Gami or maybe a preorder of Star Wars Outlaws or this years EVO where we’ll most likely get fighting game DLC. And that’s me mostly wanting to knock out all the cool games of the first half of the year. On the switch we’re talking Paper Mario, Luigi’s Mansion 2, Monkey Ball, Monster Hunter Stories and of course my lovely Trails Through Daybreak. Got to play that on my day off and it was just absolutely lovely amd everything I wanted and more. And over on PS5 that means games like Persona 3 Reload, FFXIV Dawntrail, Stellar Blade, Sand Land, FFVII Rebirth, Rise of the Ronin, WWE 2K24 and Dragons Dogma 2. Wanna knock most of these out by the last week of August which I consider to be the start of the second half of games where they just start coming out one week after the other rapidfire. I may also wanna dabble in some Theatrhythm Final Bar Line. Played it a little when it came out and honestly I really love the gameplay loop of those games, a craving I guess ahahaha. Also may want to check out the Starfy games. Starfy is so cute and awesome and honestly the fact they put them on NSO like they did is really interesting. Anime of the week gotta go to Kaiju No.8, Oshi No Ko, Delicious in Dungeon and Urusei Yatsura of course. Oshi No Ko specifically is incredibly amazing honestly. That show has not missed yet. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast,Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Last Stand Media, Easy Allies, Second Wind, Nextlander, Cultaholic Wrestling, Let’s Anime and Remap Radio. And yet we wouldn’t be done without a incredible huge lovely superb wonderful shoutout to my dear friend over at twitch.tv/akibread and their wonderful streams please give them a look. As always yall stay safe, stay cool and refreshed and be incredible to each other. Have an excellent weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 6-7)

Ryne-Gaia

Well here we are with another stupendous WAYP. Been an odd week around here. Think I’m dealing with a bout of genuine depression but that’s not what these spaces are for so that’s all I’ll say. And a really bad cold too hahaha. Don’t be afraid to ask for help yall. In terms of good things this week? Beat Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth which is a GOTY contender it was so good. Enjoyed the demo of Kunitsu-Gami so I’m gonna secure a preorder on that and Nintendo World Championship NES Edition. Also a really nice time was WWEs PLE for July, Money in the Bank. Sad to see John Cena leaving by the end of next year but hey just means we gotta go see him eh? Definitely the standouts of last night would have to be Tiffany Stratton the new Ms Money in the Bank or should I say Tiffy in the Bank. Amd Jacob Fatu in the Bloodline match. That dude is physically an enigma like a genuine work of art. Also enjoyed some Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD alongside that and that game is so freaking cozy I love it. Great summer or fall game honest. Thinking the rest of the weekend will just be a Persona 3 Reload or FFXIV Dawntrail weekend. Depends on how I feel honest. Not gonna aggravate more depression. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak on my day off hopefully, Stellar Blade, and maybe some Paper Mario. Maybe Zenless Zone Zero too I think I found a huyoverse game I like. Anime of the week gotta go to Kaiju No.8, Demon Slayer, Delicious in Dungeon and Urusei Yatsura of course. Anime Expo happening this weekend has been quite fruitful with TRIGUN Stargaze, RWBYxVIZ, the three Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movies, NEW Panty and Stocking and so much more. Definitely think I’m gonna secure a preorder of that Delicious in Dungeon box set they announced. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast,Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Last Stand Media, Easy Allies, Second Wind, Nextlander, Cultaholic Wrestling and Remap Radio. And yet we wouldn’t be done without a incredible huge lovely massive wonderful shoutout to my dear friend over at twitch.tv/akibread and their wonderful streams please give them a look. As always yall stay safe, be wonderful to each other. Have an excellent weekend and of course Happy Gaming

Re: Talking Point: Has Your Gaming Slowed Down As You've Got Older?

Ryne-Gaia

I picked it’s slowed down but not by much because I would say I still purchase and beat most new games the year they come out. But because of my job and other factors I play much slower. Take for instance FFXIV. To catch up to the at the time new expansion Endwalker before it came out I was starting at say 8 pm taking a two hour break sometimes at 10, and then playing at times until 4 or 5 in the morning. Nowadays the longest playtime a Persoma 3 Reload, Stellar Blade or yes even the now newest expansion Dawntrail can get sometimes is 2 hours between 12am and 2am.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 29-30)

Ryne-Gaia

Well here we are with another wonderful WAYP. It’s been one of the craziest weeks here. Start of the week had me conquering one of my biggest fears with Persona 3 Reload and now I’m further then I’ve ever been before in it. Also made it to the finale of Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth too. But the big day of the week had to have been Friday. Going to NYC for Friday Night SMACKDOWN and getting to get the Japanese Xenoblade 3 art book and go to Nintendo NYC as they were having a Luigi’s Mansion 2 launch event? Pretty cool. But going to Madison Square Garden and getting to see Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Cody Rhodes, Tiffany Stratton, and so many more in person was just a thing of magic it was the greatest night ever. Then I followed that up yesterday with the start of Dawntrail and honestly it’s kinda been the greatest weekend ever. Thinking the rest of the weekend will maybe be a Persona 3 Reload weekend. Feeling kinda under the weather since Friday so maybe it’ll be no games and just an early nights sleep. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, Paper Mario, more P3R and maybe some Stellar Blade. And some more Dawntrail and hopefully starting Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD and Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble. Very excited for those two and Trails Through Daybreak too. Didn’t watch any anime this week so really I’m just gonna shoutout one of my favorites that I’m always always gonna shoutout which is Urusei Yatsura. Love Lum. And yet we wouldn’t be done without an incredible huge magnificent lovely shoutout to my dear friend over at twitch.tv/akibread and their wonderful streams please give them a look. As always yall stay safe, be incredible to each other. Have an excellent weekend and of course Happy Gaming. And Happy Pride Yall.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 22-23)

Ryne-Gaia

Well here we are with another superb WAYP. That Nintendo Difect this week eh? Definitely gotta say my next most anticipated games this week are gonna be Mario and Luigi and Zelda. Them and Metaphor. Weekends been pretty neat with some Apollo Justice Trilogy and Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth. Tho I feel I’ve been neglecting my switch a lot with how work is so that along with a really rough emotional dream has me thinking I’m gonna do some Paper Mario and start Chapter 3 and then either some FFXIV and get set for Dawntrail with some Pandemonium wrap up or some SMTV: Vengeance because I’ve really been wanting to show that game some love. Thinking it’s gonna be XIV tho. Thinking this week is gonna be some Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, Paper Mario, more P3R and maybe more Stellar Blade. Oh and some Ed/Akuma/M.Bison sets in SF6 with a buddy. Gonna be a weird gaming week as my only day off is when I get to go to Madison Square Garden and get to see FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN. Very excited for all the Money In the Bank Qualifiers I’m gonna get to see like with Logan Paul and Tiffany Stratton and Blair Davenport. Hoping to get to see Cody Rhodes, Solo Sikoa and the Wise Man Paul Heyman as well. Also got two new games coming this week in the form of Super Monkey Ball and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD. Extremely excited. Also think I’ll check out and chill in some of the new Hololive EN Girls streams now that I’ve reorganized my VTUBER love to focus exclusively on the Hololive English Speaking streamers. Anime of the week gotta go to Kaiju No.8, Go Go Loser Ranger, Delicious in Dungeon and Urusei Yatsura of course. All absolutely superb. And alas we wouldn’t be done without an incredible huge magnificent lovely shoutout to my dear friend over at twitch.tv/akibread and their wonderful amazing streams please give them a look. As always yall stay safe in this wild heat, be incredible to each other. Have an excellent weekend and of course Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 15-16)

Ryne-Gaia

Well here we go with another excellent WAYP. Been an interesting week around here. Weekends been mostly busy with work tho I did beat Little Kitty Big City. Also got to take Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance for a ride as well. Excellent games both of those. Thinking the rest of the weekend will just be a Persona 3 Reload weekend. Gotta keep working at that game if I want to beat it by my deadline of July 21st a fitting full moon. Can’t wait to beat it and immediately throw myself hard into the Canon of Vengeance for SMTV:V. Think I’ll pick up the expansion pass for that game and a preorder of Visions of Mana while I’m at it. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, Paper Mario, more P3R and some Guilty Gear Strive Slayer sets with a friend. Maybe some Stellar Blade and going back to FFXIV for the Yokai Watch event. Oh and giving Monster Hunter Stories on the switch a try on my day off. Been really really excited for that one. Anime of the week gotta go to Kaiju No.8, Go Go Loser Ranger, Delicious in Dungeon and Urusei Yatsura of course. Loser Ranger specifically is superb honestly. Might splash some cash and get the last 4 manga volumes of the authors previous work The Quintessential Quintuplets. And yet we wouldn’t be done without a incredible huge lovely shoutout to my dear friend over at twitch.tv/akibread and their wonderful streams please give them a look. Here’s hoping we get ourselves a Nintendo Direct this week to go Gaga over. As always yall stay safe, be incredible to each other. Have an excellent weekend and of course Happy Gaming. Oh and Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 8-9)

Ryne-Gaia

Well here we go again with a special birthday WAYP. Yep that’s right it just so happens June 8 is my birthday 🥳. It was a pretty great one won’t lie. Got to play some AI The Somnium Files Nirvana Initiative and the Alan Wake 2 DLC Night Springs. Night Springs is particularly excellent and makes me wanna platinum that game. Also saw Furiosa. Excellent movie and great times with friends. My best friend also got me the rest of Spy X Family so now I proudly own it all. Enjoyed Summer Game Fest and am super looking forward to the Xbox Games Showcase. Thanks to SGF that rounds out the rest of my birthday purchases as I got the SF6 Year 2 Character Pass because I need that Terry and Mai, Destiny 2 The Witch Queen and preorders on SMTV Vengeance and Concord. And in total from other family I also have copies of Monster Hunter Stories, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble and Trails Through Daybreak. All for all an excellent time. As for the rest of the weekend I’m thinking a nice meaty session of Persona 3 Reload after work. No switch sadly. As for the rest of the week I’m thinking a rotation of games like Paper Mario and Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth. More progress on Nayuta and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. I actually just resubbed to FFXIV for Dawntrail so I think I wanna knock out the Endwalker Pandemonium raids before that too. And I also kinda definitely have decided I wanna really focus on and learn Unicorn Overlord and beat it this year. It’s a really neat game. Otherwise it’s probably just more of the other games I listed. Anime of the week gotta go to Kaiju No.8, Delicious in Dungeon, Urusei Yatsura and Go Go Loser Ranger. That last one is exceedingly awesome. Oh and special shoutout to Shameless again. Here in Season 10 they really managed to make me feel super sad with the leaving of Fiona from the show. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast,Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Last Stand Media, Easy Allies, Second Wind and Nextlander. And of course we wouldn’t be quite done without a big fantastic awesome shoutout to my dear friend over at twitch.tv/akibread and their amazing streams please give them a look. Again it’s been a great birthday weekend and I’m excited for all the game reveals at Xbox and this months Nintendo Direct. As always yall stay safe and be good to each other. Have a awesome rest of your weekend and week and Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 1-2)

Ryne-Gaia

Well this is a bit of a late WAYP this week but you gotta forgive me it’s what occurs when you gotta deal with the state of Maryland. Yes I’m officially back home and done with vacation. That’s where I wanna start actually as I just feel really sentimental. Got a lot of cool stuff that happened over the vacation. Beat loads of games like Another Code and Princess Peach and the FFXVI DLC. Got to start cool new ones like Paper Mario. Stuff like experiencing Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 261 in the midst of a brutal sunburn just absolutely destroying me making me feel like I was in the chapter will be memories for years. Getting into X-men or seeing King and Queen of the Ring equally as awesome. But really yall the thing that was the best was quality time with my stepdad on the beach. The most beautiful beach you could ever imagine. The most delicious dinners you’ve ever had. The most relaxing times you could ever imagine. I guess I’m saying all this to encourage all of yall to take a step back from games sometimes and enjoy a beautiful thing like a beach. Anyway onto the games like these things are meant for ahaha. Weekend was chill with just some Nayuta before Trails Through Daybreak and yet some more Persona 3 Reload before Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. Honestly in between going back to work this week I’m thinking this weeks gonna be kinda chill with games. Just some Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door. Some Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth. Some AI:Nirvana Initiative. Some Stellar Blade. Some Sand Land. Some Star Ocean 2. Next big game I’m working on is gonna be Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and I wanna get that done before the launch of FFXIV: Dawntrail at the end of this month. Only other real plans is Furiosa on my birthday on Saturday. Oh and Summer Game Fest on Friday too ahaha. Got these excellent Japan only Monster Hunter Stories amiibos too they’re absolutely beautiful. Anime of the week gotta go to Kaiju No.8, The Many Sides of Voice Actor Radio, Delicious in Dungeon and Urusei Yatsura of course. Simply excellent shows that always make me smile. Podcasts of this week gotta go to the usuals of Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast,Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Last Stand Media, Easy Allies, Second Wind and Cultaholic Wrestling. And of course we wouldn’t be quite done without a big amazing shoutout to my dear friend over at twitch,tv/akibread and their superb streams please give them a watch. As we head into the Summer Game Fest streams by all these different companies I gotta admit I’m pretty dang excited. Oh and Happy Pride to all. But as always yall stay safe, be kind to each other, have a excellent week and weekend and Happy Gaming.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (May 25-26)

Ryne-Gaia

Alrighty here we go with another wonderful edition of WAYP. Yet again from the beautiful Ocracoke Island of the Outer Banks. Been a great first week of vacation with loads of excellent beach days and some excellent gaming. Got super sunburned already hahaha. Was able to beat Another Code and Princess Peach Showtime. As well as starting Endless Ocean and Little Kitty and let me tell you all of those games are highly recommended and absolutely excellent. Of course outside of the beach the highlight of this week has to have been King and Queen of the Ring. Absolutely excellent PLE and hey who wouldn’t like to see Logan Paul get his butt kicked cheater that he is. Big congrats to Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan and Randy Orten and Lyra Valkyria on this one they did excellent. As for the rest of the weekend I beat Trails Into Reverie last night and I’m thinking of doing the little post game tonight and getting the connecting line between it and Daybreak. And probably some Persona 3 Reload. As for the rest of the week I’m thinking of keeping it nice and simple. Start Paper Mario and Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life on Switch and Sand Land on PS5. And otherwise just beat things like Side Order for Splatoon 3 and reinstall and work on games like Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth and Rise of The Ronin. Stellar Blade too I’m absolutely loving it. In terms of anime this weel ima keep it nice and simple and give love to Kaiju No.8, Demon Slayer, Urusei Yatsura, Delicious In Dungeon, and Many Sides of Voice Actor Radio. All simply excellent. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast, Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Last Stand Media, Easy Allies, Fire Escape and Second Wind. Definitely think I’m gonna try to knock out the like 8 hour long GOTY episodes of Into The Aether, Tetracast, and Fire Escape. And of course we wouldn’t be quite done without a special shoutout to my dear awesome friend over at twitch.tv/akibread and their awesome streams. As always yall stay safe and be good to each other. Have a awesome weekend and of course Happy Gaming.
