We talked recently about how last month might have been the best ever for Xbox Game Pass, but May 2025 is trying its very best to get that crown as well - especially thanks to a Game of the Year title that's joining next week.
Stunning RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio, which was crowned 2024's Game of the Year by the likes of IGN and NAVGTR, is officially heading to Xbox Game Pass on May 29th, arriving for not only Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members, but subscribers to the Xbox Game Pass Standard service as well.
Although it didn't win GOTY here at Pure Xbox, our readers still voted it as the seventh best title of the year back in December, and our Metaphor: ReFantazio review awarded the game a very rare "Outstanding" 10/10 rating.
