@Dezzy70 Mate, you're constantly repeating yourself, for what? Xbox series X is selling out like crazy in the UK, heaps of PS5's are filling CeX shelves, Series S is lacklustre in terms of anyone wanting next gen, but as for how the company is doing, they're doing great. Gamepass has over 20plus million subs and growing. Once Forza, Halo, Redfall, Deathloop, Ghost wire, and Starfield start landing, the numbers will grow even more. Your DIY statistics isn't really viable let alone accurate especially when the numbers are out there for all to read. Of course PS5 is selling more consoles but Microsoft ain't fighting a console war, they're knee deep in Gamepass. PC players are on the up, PC players buy games like Deathloop etc. The climate has changed, and within a year Xbox game pass will be full of content ranging from triple A to double A to experimental indies. I'm not sure what you're "worried" about haha, there's plenty of players and plenty of console owners to keep the train rolling. You mention Forza non stop but to some, a lot, they love Sable, Psychonaughts 2, Outerworlds, The ascent, the list goes on. You're projecting your own experience and interpretation as reality whereas really what you're saying isn't factual, it's speculative at best, deluded at worst.

Sony sign better than Xbox? That's up for debate but this generation has only just started.

Halo will be awesome, Perfect Dark will be awesome, Fable and Redfall and Starfield and Cross fire and Stalker and Scorn and The Gunk and Forza and Outer worlds and Avaowed and Elder scrolls and whatever game is coming will be awesome. I know.some of you might not be use to the idea of Xbox doing well, but you're about to, because it's already happening. Xbox has already delivered Deathloop to Sony and it's golden.Game pass has served up Psychonaughts 2, Aragami 2, Sable, Flight simulator, artful escape, Wasteland 3, back 4 Blood next month, and many many more. Forza and Halo before the end is out, and the Gunk! Next year we're bound to have Deathloop ghost wire and redfall and Star field. Perfect Dark is not the entirety of Xbox, though some of you would like to think so

Heeeeere we go. Armchair experts with a plethora of game development experience... I love the gaming community, especially how they feel so entitled to have a game that's not even out yet be made exactly how they imagine it should be. Or how they hear the words early development and instantly weaponize it as console war fodder. Typical lot you lot.

And, anyone saying they're wasting money and talent on creating a new perfect dark game either has a hole in their head or are just plain dumb dumbs. Perfect Dark, once upon a time, was known as the Bond killer. The queen of FPS. It pushed boundaries and required an extension thing for the N64 due to pushing the hardware. I think everyone just assumed another perfect dark zero scenario and they would be assuming wrong. This game will be awesome so shaddap

As others have said, next year will bring the fruits of its labour and as for those timed exclusives, I see it as a nice gentle way of saying "if you like this, sub to game pass and get more next year". Deathloop had a lot riding on its shoulders, when you think about it, had it been a total flop and riddled with bugs it would have enflamed the whole Bugthesda narrative and paved way for naysayers to throw shade at the whole acquisition. Arkane studios alone was a good grab for Xbox, just to think what Machinegames will do next, and Starfield. I'm excited for next year, and it's kinda cool to have Forza Halo and the Gunk see us out

This is slightly off topic but will Skyrim get ray tracing?

I'll probably regret trying this game but there's something alluring about it

@UltimateOtaku91 Have you ever played Deadly premonition? It was so weird, again, cheap graphics and terrible voice acting yet it felt like Twin Peaks meets Poundland Silent Hill haha. I hated it, but now I wanna play it. I think this will be similar, and hopefully on gamepass, as let's face it, this doesn't seem like the kind of game I'd gamble on. Yet I want to.

Let's all leave it at a fart. This all started because I dared to have a single opinion and for some reason that's branded me an Xbot. I wasn't attacking anybody or trying to start a fight, yet Otaku and his mate felt inclined to have a go. Funny eh, imagine if I tried doing that over at Pushsquare. It's starting to feel like because Xbox nabbed Bethesda, Sony is nabbing what they can to get some of that stage light on them. Only, as usual, Sony aims for the legs while Xbox is scoping for headshots. MS are clearly more aggressive this generation and I don't blame them. If Sony fans had it their way there would be no competition and when there's no competition and no choice, a lot of people lose out.

@sjbsixpack I plan to get a PS5 one day. I'm super happy with my series X, but one day, for God of War and Spider man and others, I'll get a Playstation. There's no rush, they'll always be there, (as opposed to now during this shortages haha) fanboy wars are weird, but I suspect it comes from an economical standpoint as maybe they can only afford one console and both don't want to feel like they made a bad choice on what they invested in. Which is a shame because no matter what console you buy, you're not losing, not with all the games coming out. Xbox has gamepass, PlayStation has blockbusters. I guess, in my opinion that could change, Xbox could start releasing heavy hitters (they kind of starting to) and that I think has some fanboys worried, going back to the whole investment thing, and not being able to afford to buy both, which leads to a low grade fear that grows to a high temperature debate and so begins the trolling, the arguing and the inane review bombing. I'm the other hand, those who brought an Xbox have also invested their trust into the company to rebuild what it lost many years ago, hence why they can be more defensive.
