Personally I own the Lenovo Legion Go since December. Absolutely loving it. The size of the screen, the detachable controllers and the kickstand were the biggest reasons to get this one over the Ally. The only downside is the battery is empty so fast. I love to see these handheld pcs getting more popular now. The Switch and Steamdeck prove handheld gaming is extremely popular and for the ones who prefer Windows handheld the Go and the Ally are great. I think we will see a lot more improvements on these handhelds the coming years,
Diablo 4 is the biggest surprise on this list. The campaign was good but the end game is severely lacking. Season 2 was a step in the good direction but the game is nowhere near as good to make a top 10 list. As a Yakuza/Like a Dragon fan its great to see Infinite wealth up there. Its my favorite Like a Dragon game with just so much great content.
@Lup Understandable m8. Luckily both Lost Judgment and Gaiden are also very good games. Lost Judgment has the best combat imo and Gaiden feels like a fan service game. Just beware for the ending of Gaiden. It might hit hard, keep the tissues ready. So you have some great game time ahead of you! Enjoy it!
I'm on chapter 4 of Like a Dragon infinite Wealth and my god, it's so incredibly good! From what I've played my favorite Like a Dragon game and it might be one of my favorite games ever. The sheer amount of great content in this game is amazing. Every side quest and every new minigame introduced is a hit. It's incredibly funny one moment and makes you cry the next moment. It's unbelievable they made this game in under 3 years....
Man like I wasnt hyped enough for this game this game gets stellar reviews everywhere. Have the ultimate edition pre ordered since Rgg never lets me down. Great to see this game turn out like this. Cant wajt until Friday
Brotato looks like a lot of fun. I added it to my steam wishlist this week, guess i can remove it and decide if I play it on my Legion Go or my Xbox then Persona 3 reload I am absolutely going to play . Don't know if Ill start it right away since Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth is the week before it, but Ill definitely play P3R soonish. So great to see those kind of games coming day 1 to gamepass!
Usually we dont get gamepass drops in the 2nd half of december so i doubt we will get gamepass news. What i do expect is news about Hellblade 2 and or Avowed or the other first party titles releasing in 2024
I absolutely loved the Telltale games based on the TWD universe. But this game just doesn't look interesting at all. What's up with publicers just picking up licenses and make crappy games out of them? LOTR: Gollum and Skull island: Rise of Kong are counted as by far the worst games of this year and this game looks to join them as yet another failed licensed IP game. I hope the people who sell these licenses will pay better attention where to sell their licenses to....
I haven't played The evil within since I'm not the biggest horror fan. But I loved Ghostwire and HiFi Rush. So curious to see what they are working on. Would love to see if the rumours about a jrpg are true.
@Lup ikr. Its absolutely a big win that its coming to gamepass. The Like a Dragon games tend to stay on gamepass for a while so you can probably take your time with them. Personally im still going to buy it. I own every RGG game and buy them day one nowadays. Gaiden and Infinite wealth are pre ordered as well. Rgg is one of those studios i trust enough that they deliver a great enough experience on day 1 so thats why i pre order the games anyways
October doesnt really have anything for me on Xbox. Might try forza but not that into racing tbh. But thats fine in november like a Dragon gaiden, persona 5 Tactica and the tales of arise dlc will be release so thats going to be my busy month. In the mean time ill try some gamepass stuff out
For me its around 3rd now. Below HiFi Rush and Final Fantasy 16. With Spiderman 2 still releasing and both a game in my favorite series Like a Dragon and Persona it might drop a bit. But i love the game, have around 90 hours in the game arm and far from done yet. We just have so many amazing games this year and some of those i just liked a bit more than Starfield .
@OM1993 For me personally it's on the same quality level als Y0. It's a Yakuza game in everything, lots of side content, whacky side stories, great main quest line. If you love it as much as the Kiryu sage depends on if you like JRPG's/turn based combat. The main protagonist Ichiban is kind of a goofy sweet guy which is a big fan and wants to be a hero just like in Dragon Quest games. So you see a lot of similarities with DQ games, especially the "job/role" system and parts where you grind. If you dont mind those parts, you are going to love Yakuza Like a Dragon.
@OM1993 I completely agree with you m8. I was kinda late to the party with Yakuza Like a Dragon to be my first one. But after that I played all the games available on modern platforms made by RGG. Even Fist of the North Star and BInary Domain hehe.
@Kaloudz Ikr? Glad to see these kind of games on gamepass for the JRPG/Japanese games enthusiasts. The last few months of this year are INSANE with gamepass value. I don't know where i have to get the time to play all the games that are coming to gamepass and launch outside of gamepass.
So good to see Sega and Xbox being such great friends and releasing a lot of games on day 1. LaD Gaiden, Persona 5 tactica and Persona 3 reload all coming in the following months is huge.
Still gonna keep my preorder on Like a Dragon Gaiden though. It's by far my favourite game series and own all games available on Xbox by RGG. They never let me down so I instantly pre order all their games when they are available to. But good to see for people who like this series but cant afford a lot of new games that it is still playable for them
@Kaloudz That would be aweseome Now that Xbox and Square seem to be buddies again, especially after finally seeing FF14 coming to Xbox, I hope Square brings the "missing" games over as well. Octopath 2, Live a Live, Ff7R to name a few besides the pixel remasters. I can play them on my PS5 if I want, but i prefer to have choice on which platform I play and those games should release on all platforms imo.
Man that RGG direct was awesome. We got so much information about Infinite Wealth. It looks to be even more packed than Like a Dragon. More playable characters, more minigames, more locations. This game looks insane. And also a bit sooner than i expected. A week before Persona and Granblue Fantasy and FF7 Rebirth also launches in feb. Going to have to make choices what to play there, so stacked for JRPG fans
Starfield and Bg3. Loving both of them very much. Even though Starfield isnt perfect and it wont win game of the year its the type of game I love. About 65 hours in and nowhere near the end I feel.
Bg had a lot of bugs on the console edition like broken tutorial and such so was hard to enjoy it but now that most is fixed i can see the praise it gets is deserved and starting to like it more.
@Kaloudz thats the one i havent played yet tbh but i have it in my very huge library haha. I did play Arise and Symphonia. arise is my favorite game from 2021, love the flashy combat and the story. One day ill play Vesperia as well but man so many great games so little time lol
@FraserG it is available for pre order on Xbox. Just had to do a bit of searching but have it pre ordered. It seems to be 30 dollars or euro from what ive seen. Dont know the price in pounds
Played around 45 to 50 hours of it and cant put it down. Its very addictive. It isnt perfect and wont win game of the year, but we got exactly what they advertised. Havent encountered a single bug or glitch in my game yet. Some minor annoyance s like a missing map in cities and a vehicle on planets would be nice. But it runs stable even on my series s and having a lot of fun. A solid 9 out of 10 for me
Haha this is exactly why i love this type of game. Just play it however the way you want to play it. The total freedom of things also gives it a high replayability. Awesome
I got the early access but it releases at 2 am on a workday SO have to wait until after work until I can start it. But thats fine. Got the upgrade for "free" with rewards points anyways Can't wait to start and play. From what I've seen it looks exactly like the type of game I love so I cant wait to play it.
1 day after Granblue Fantasy Relink. And Like a Dragon Infinite wealth and FF7 rebirth still have a date to be announced in Q1. Gonna be a wild few months for jrpg enthusiasts.
Generally not the biggest racing fan. I'll try it out for a bit probably thanks to gamepass of course. But I'm more hyped for starfield, baldurs gate 3, like a dragon gaiden and persona 5 tactica tbh. Those are the game I'll absolutely play day 1 and will spend a ton of time on.
I'm glad Xbox and Sega have such a good relationship. Seeing games like Persona 5 tactics coming to gamepass day 1 is a huge thing. @Kaloudz I absolutely loved this game when i played it last year. I think it also depends a bit on how you approach this game if you like it or not. For people expecting a linear horror game or action game, they might be dissapointed or dislike this game. I approached it as a very relaxing game. I took my time exploring Shibuya and learning about all the Folklore, Ghost stories and Mythology that was woven into the modern day city. The action/combat was merely a side activity in the game for me and I think that's mainly why I like this game so much.
@Shigurui Exactly this. A lot of people treated it like some far cry in Tokyo and that isn't what the game is about. In what it tries to do it's awesome, it's just not for everyone
People who haven't tried Midnight Suns yet should give it a go. I'm not a huge card battler or strategy rpg fun but absolutely loved the game. It's part social sim and part strategy rpg. And the battles were surprisingly fun and addicting. One of my biggest surprises of last year

Great to see this is getting more content, i would love to play some more in this world.

Re: Pick One: Which Of These June Xbox Releases Are You Most Excited For?
There are 2games in June which I'm excited for. Diablo will be my obvious choice of this list. Will spend a lot of hours with the Mrs on it. The other game is FfXVI but that can't be played on Xbox
Re: Two Games Are Available Today With Xbox Game Pass (May 18)
@Kaloudz Haven't played this or the other one yet but from what i can find it's a metroidvania with puzzle elements. On the steam store it's being described as a mix between Metroid, Zelda and Portal.

Re: Ravenlok Seems To Be Going Down Well On Xbox Game Pass As Dev Hits Player Milestone
I completed it last week. It's one of those "turn your brain off and enjoy" weekend games. Rather short, can finish the game in like 4-5 hours. It's pretty easy and not to complex. So for people looking for a fun but short weekend game it's something i would recommend.
You can also use it for the daily achievements. Achievements are pretty easy to get into this game and sometimes you pop like 3 achievements in like 2 minutes.
Re: Diablo 4 Performance Targets Confirmed For Xbox Series X And S
@Green-Bandit D4 is crossplatform. So you can play with friends on the Ps5 even if you're playing it on Xbox or PC.
Re: Talking Point: What Have You Bought In The Xbox Spring Sale 2023?
9 in total, a lot more than i was expecting:
Lego Indiana Jones 2
Lego movie bundle
Lego DC bundle
Prince of Persia
FEAR 2
Sword art online alicisation lycoris
Dark pictures house of ashes
Telltale batman
wolf among us
So basically some 360 titles, a bit of Lego and some narrative games which i enjoy a lot recently.

Re: Free Play Days: Try These Xbox Games For Free (March 23-26)
People who haven't tried Midnight Suns yet should give it a go. I'm not a huge card battler or strategy rpg fun but absolutely loved the game. It's part social sim and part strategy rpg. And the battles were surprisingly fun and addicting. One of my biggest surprises of last year
Re: Ghostwire: Tokyo Officially Arrives On Xbox Game Pass This April
@Balta666 It's not really horror. It does have some creepy creatures and some creepy atmosphere here and there but nothing spooky, no jump scares etc. I'm not the biggest fan of horror games either but this game I loved very much.
Re: Ghostwire: Tokyo Officially Arrives On Xbox Game Pass This April
I absolutely loved this game when i played it last year. It was in my top 3 favorite games of last year. Great to see this is getting more content, i would love to play some more in this world.
