I did my first pre-order this June- Shadow of the Erdtree, simply because I was super excited about it. I've been gaming since the commodore 64 was current. This is the first time I have pre ordered.
I was in university when Halo came out . We set up tiered seating with couches on milk crates for the back row and didn't sleep for weeks. Never looked back save a decade or so dabbling in WOW on the side. Still rocking my XB One S and can't get enough of Elden Ring.
@awp69 This. I think it's a great game. It came out amidst so many other great games. Personally my attention has been almost completely on Lies of P. Riding on the Skyrim phenomenon, I get the sense Starfield will be there waiting for me when I'm done getting annihilated by the monsters of Krat.
I’m having a blast with it. At 10 hours in I thought- cool game. I’ll keep going. At 20 hours in i can’t stop thinking about what I will do in my next session when I’m not playing it. Last game that got me like this was the Witcher 3.
I’m exactly the opposite! I’ve gotten bored with games that don’t put up much of a challenge.
I loved the demo. I don’t know how many attempts it took me to beat the Scrapped Watchman boss, but it was a lot, but what a rush when he finally went down.
I can’t wait to get my face wrecked in the full version!
Question for the author- did much change between the demo and the full version in terms of tuning, mechanics or gameplay? Or is the demo a pretty good representiatiom of what we are getting?
I loved the Lies of P demo enough I’m going back through to try the other 2 Paths (specs). I will fill a bit of time between tje 6th and 19th with that space game… but lies of P is going to wreck my face for weeks when The full release comes out!
