This is just a third-party exclusive that I never expected to stay just on Xbox. Heck, it also was already published by Netflix on mobile months ago. Not on the same level as a first party being ported to other platforms so don’t know why it’s being written as if it is a big deal. It’s not.

@Cherip-the-Ripper I’m happy with GamePass when I’m happy with the games. Nothing new there.

I don’t say “GamePass is great this month” just to say it. I only say it when I mean it.

Still not a bad first half of the month for people that haven’t played Valhalla and RE2 in particular.

Not bad but gotten used to so many day one releases that it’s a little disappointing. That said it’s kinda slow in that area all around but hopefully the second half of the month’s batch will have a few!

Alan Wake 2 was easily my GoTY but enjoyed Starfield and am glad to see it get some love.

First Turnip Boy was a blast so looking forward to the sequel!

So many great games but Starfield, Hi-Rush and Sea of Stars would be my favorites!

I played and loved it when it first came out but got sidetracked by other releases (especially Alan Wake 2 which I had been dying to play). But I still have it installed and plan on getting back to it soon.

Surprised so many people say they have problems with it. Only issues I’ve had with it are online games that I don’t care if it resumes. Always works perfectly with single player games and not once had it “crash” my Series X. It’s a feature that lives up to the hype for me and saves a lot of time.

I love it and when I go to play games on my PS5, it feels weird not to have it. So nice to avoid loading times, etc. and just pick right up where you left off.

This fix solved all my problems. Cross saves were causing crashes and no longer do. No other save issues so far.

Definitely plan to get back to this. Just too many games to play!

Both have good and bad but for some reason I feel like I’m watching paint dry with GT7. It has better presentation but dull racing IMO. I also prefer not having rolling starts like GT7.

Honestly most of the really bad stuff I’ve seen about this game is indeed from Sony fans trying to use it to rip Xbox. 99% of the time they have no idea what they are talking about. It’s probably that criticism that he’s calling out the most and I agree with him.

In any case, I love Starfield warts and all. It isn’t perfect but it’s a great game.

I’ll buy it when it’s $20, which should be in like a month with Ubisoft. 😃

I need to get back to this. I really enjoyed what I played of the game. Just got sucked away to finish games like Alan Wake 2. But I’m all improvements!

Can’t wait to replay this on New Game+. Fantastic game, easily my GoTY.

Haven’t had any issues yet but good to know. I also have the PS5 version. Might continue playing there until this is resolved.

Don’t overlook Clone Drone. It’s silly but quite fun and challenging. Was a pretty big hit on Steam (where it has 97% positive with 23,000+ reviews).

Saw that interview and wondered why that site was even doing that story when they focus on mobile and Switch. But interesting read nonetheless.

And loved the game as is. One of the few games that launched with almost no bugs and great framerate (fine with 60 FPS).

Is this going to be an actual graphical overhaul, etc? Or just a repackaging of the original content?

Really a new game / reboot is what we need.

I’ve really enjoyed what I’ve played. I’d at least put it in Positive. But it’s Very Positive from my point of view.

@InterceptorAlpha Spider-Man maybe but BG3 isn’t even in the Top 20 on PlayStation. Call of Duty MW III is actually the #1 game on both systems. Swap out Starfield and Spider-Man and the lists are pretty similar.

But sure…GamePass killed it.

People seem to be missing that it’s also not in top 150 on PS5 either. Can’t blame GamePass for that.

They can count me 100 times. It’s such an amazing game (easily my GoTY) and deserves more attention. Head and shoulders above the first game.

Have been interested in this but it’s also 72 GB! Pretty enormous for a puzzle game. So it’ll have to wait until I finish a few of the heavy hitters.

@Raffles It wasn’t an Xbox exclusive like the first one.

Starfield may not be GoTY but to me it’s more worthy of being nominated over Spider-Man 2 and even RE4 IMO. People may say it’s like older Bethesda games but it’s still a hugely ambitious game. Not all of it was a home run but it’s a game I will spend more time over the years with than SP 2, which is really just more of the same.

RE4 as a remake doesn’t even belong in consideration. Dead Space was just as good if not better of a remake so why isn’t it in nominations? Just leave remakes out of the mix.

In any case, Alan Wake 2 is still by far my GoTY. It does more to advance narrative gaming than any on the list and has blown me away. Amazing game.

FWIW, I also do think you will see Starfield appear on many GoTY lists.

BG3 will win but Alan Wake 2 deserves to IMO. Such an incredible game with by far the most originality and big swings on the technical side of things that were knocked out of the park.

Alan Wake 2 still my personal GoTY, even having been playing BG3 on PS5. AW2 probably will be on my favorite games of all time list.

@Serpentes420 They get CoD plus a ton of other great games on GamePass, including many new releases from first party titles Forza Motorsport and Starfield to Lies of P and Cocoon. And by the time CoD starts coming day one, there also will be other ATB titles like Diablo.

It would be incredibly bad math to only take CoD into consideration.

Aren’t you missing the part where Call of Duty will be on GamePass? That certainly is a big plus for Xbox and may sell consoles.

I’m loving it. It’s nice to have a more streamlined campaign. It merges more modern parkouring and fantastic graphics of the newer games with the original focus on being an assassin (won’t say stealth as you can still play it how you want to.)

When Origins came out, I really enjoyed it at first. The graphics blew me away and I loved the Egyptian setting. But the typical Ubi open world started to wear me down. Felt the same with Odyssey.

I absolutely hated Valhalla because it was so far removed from what I expected from an AC game with the region empire building, etc.

Glad to finally have a “real” AC game to play again.

I think people here are being way too harsh on Xbox. There have been really major issues, way beyond what has occurred on Xbox, on PC this year. Jedi Survivor, Last of Us, Wo Long Fallen Dynasty, Dead Space Remastered, Atomic Heart…all of those had major issues on PC and some were basically unplayable.

The issue isn’t just Xbox. It’s just AAA releases in general are being rushed out the door. Either major failures in QA or just publishers who want to stick to release dates regardless of what state a game is in.

@Mighty90 Most of the big AAA releases that have had big problems, like Jedi Survivor, have had issues across all platforms. If any platform has gotten it worse this year, it’s been PC. There have been some really bad PC ports for the “master race”, lol.

It’s more fun that I anticipated it being and honestly was impressed with how good it looked in 60 FPS mode.
